Harry Maguire is reportedly growing frustrated with Leicester City’s reluctance to sell him to Manchester United.
The two teams have been in talks for a number of weeks over a big-money deal for the England international.
Maguire missed training on Monday because of a supposed sickness bug, but The Sun suggests that the 26-year-old is staying away because he is upset that vice-chairman Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha is going back on a promise made last year.
Srivaddhanaprabha is said to have told the ex-Hull City man that he could move this summer if the right amount was tabled, though that has not been the case so far.
Leicester supposedly value Maguire at a whopping £90m – £15m more than Liverpool paid Southampton to make Virgil Van Dijk the most expensive defender in the world 18 months ago – but United are unwilling to go any higher than £70m.
The Red Devils have just nine days left to reach an agreement with Leicester.
