Three Managers Who Could Get The Tottenham Hotspur Job

Ryan Mason was the man to take over the Tottenham Hotspur job for the final stretch of the season and the club are now on the hunt for a new manager ahead of next year.

There have been several top managers across Europe that have been linked with a move to Spurs- we’ve talked about three of the names rumoured to be of interest.

Spurs had a below par season as they finished eighth in the Premier League, meaning that they have no European football to contest with next term.

Ange Postecoglou

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is currently the favourite to take over the role at Spurs after winning back-to-back league titles in Scotland.

The Australian boss has had a successful time in Scotland with Celtic, but it will be a major test moving over to the English Premier League where the standard is considerably higher.

Postecoglou could be the man who Spurs have been waiting for as their last two English Premier League-proven managers haven’t worked out, so the Tottenham faithful may be keen on someone ready for a fresh start in England.

Julian Nagelsmann

Julien Nagelsmann has been without a job since halfway through last season after Bayern Munich opted to sack him, and has subsequently been linked with a move to Spurs.

The German tactician is highly regarded across European football, and an option that the Lilywhites would be sensible to consider.

However, the 35-year-old has no managerial experience outside of the Bundesliga, so it could be deemed a risk if Daniel Levy was to appoint him as he could be out of his depth in the English top flight.

Brendan Rodgers

Spurs have been linked with Brendan Rodgers as they hunt for a new gaffer, and he is the only man on our list who has English Premier League experience under his belt.

It would be interesting to see how the Northern Irishman would fair with a higher quality squad, having failed to string positive results together towards the end of his time at Leicester City last season which led to the Foxes’ relegation.

Who do you think would be the best fit for Spurs going forward?
