The Bet9ja Fantasy Premier League table makes great reading for some of the top players in our league as we approach the end of September, with a number of keen managers leading the way so far this month.
Here’s the low-down on the best Bet9ja FPL gaffers so far this month.
Evian Dey FC wins big on Gameweek 6
Best Ehigie’s Evian Dey FC was the Bet9ja FPL’s top scorer this week, netting a huge 116 points to put him 1,541st worldwide and right in the mix at the top of the overall Bet9ja league.
Newcastle’s massive 8-0 win over Sheffield United was a big winner for Best Ehigie, who had Kieran Trippier and Sven Botman in his team for the thrashing. Both players kept clean sheets to combine for 30 points, with Trippier notching three assists – one of which was a pinpoint cross for Botman’s first goal of the season.
The rest of the team was made up of consistent scores across the board, with Bernd Leno, Kyle Walker, Bukayo Saka, Kaoru Mitoma, Mo Salah and Erling Haaland all hitting double figures.
Akawe Moses’ Azadi Football leads the way in September
Ogedegbe Sampson’s ICE CLUB fell from atop the September ranks this week, with Azadi Football taking its place at the summit of the monthly rankings.
Kieran Trippier, Heung-Min Son and Kaoru Mitoma were his leading point scorers, but the decision to leave Pau Torres, who scored eight points, on the bench and keep Chelsea’s red-carded defender Malo Gusto in his team caused a 10 point swing which would see him even further ahead at the top.
Best picks for Gameweek 7
According to Fantasy Football Hub’s AI tool, these are the best players to select this week within the £100m budget – especially if you don’t have them in your squad already.
Erling Haaland is the most picked player in FPL this season – if you don’t have him in your lineup you are making a serious mistake! His projected GW7 points is 8.7.
Burnley and Luton are the only two teams with a double gameweek after their initial fixture being postponed in the second weekend of the season. Despite both sides’ poor records this year, the relatively cheap prices of the players make the likes of Carlton Morris, Thomas Kaminski, James Trafford and Reece Burke potentially high scorers this week with little financial risk attached
