TOP BOOKING CODES FOR TODAY’S FA CUP MATCHES

This week hosts the return of the FA Cup with eight fifth-round games taking place across three days. Monday night saw the fifth round kick-off as Coventry City dismantled Maidstone United 5-0, ending the National League South side’s fairytale run in this year’s FA Cup.

The matches continue tonight with another three games set to take place, seeing Bournemouth take on Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers host Newcastle United and Manchester City travel to Luton in the only all-Premier League matchup of the day.

Read on as we pick out our top tips and booking codes for the upcoming action – You can bet on over 200 markets per game here at Bet9ja!

Leicester City to win, 5.15

Bournemouth vs Leicester City 696X3GB

Despite being in two different divisions, Bournemouth vs Leicester has the opportunity to be a highly entertaining game between two decently-matched sides.

Leicester City may be in the Championship having been relegated from the Premier League last season, but it looks almost guaranteed that the Foxes will be promoted back to the top division this season. They currently sit six points clear at the top of the table with 78 points from 34 games, leaving them the opportunity to break the all-time points record in the Championship of 106 points which was achieved by Reading in the 2005/06 season.

Bournemouth do still enter this game as the favourites though, with the Cherries 14th in the Premier League with 28 points. However, February has seen Bournemouth go five straight matches without a victory and we believe this form will leave them lacking in confidence coming into this one.

While we do expect this to be a tough game for both sides, we believe that Leicester City will be able to cause an upset here against a side who are hugely out of form in recent weeks.

Newcastle United to win & above 2.5 goals, 1.78

Blackburn Rovers vs Newcastle United696X6B8

This match is yet another meeting between a Championship side and a Premier League outfit as Newcastle United travel to Blackburn Rovers.

Dissimilar to Bournemouth vs Leicester though are the circumstances these two sides come into the game in. Blackburn Rovers are struggling in the Championship this season and currently sit in 16th place, just four points above the relegation zone. Newcastle United, on the other hand, are currently 10th in the Premier League and still in the hunt for the European places come the end of the season.

With this gulf in quality between the two sides, Blackburn are likely to try and keep their defence solid and keep Newcastle from scoring while attempting to catch the Magpies on the break. However, Blackburn’s defence has been far from impressive this season with them conceding 60 goals in the league, the second-highest of any side. Newcastle’s attack has also been one of the highest performing in the Premier League with them scoring 54 in 26 games, and for this reason, we believe Newcastle will win this one comfortably in the end.

Erling Haaland to score anytime, 1.55

Luton Town vs Manchester City 696X7LB

The only all-Premier League matchup of the day sees the reigning FA Cup champions Manchester City travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton Town.

Luton may be down in 18th in the Premier League, but they have earned much more credit than anyone was willing to give them prior to the season beginning. The Hatters have shown they are more than capable of hanging with some of the biggest sides in the Premier League, most noticeably beating Newcastle and Brighton and taking Manchester United, Liverpool and many others right down to the wire.

Manchester City have already beaten Luton at Kenilworth Road this season, with the Champions running out 2-1 winners. However, they did have to come from behind after Elijah Adebayo gave Luton the lead late on in the first half, another example of Luton giving a top side a difficult game.

While Luton may cause problems for Manchester City, it’s hard to ever bet against Pep Guardiola’s side and we’re backing them to come away with the victory here. One thing we have learnt in recent times is if Manchester City win a game there is one man that is usually on the scoresheet, the big Norwegian Erling Haaland. We expect this one to be no different and so we’re backing Haaland to score yet again in this one.
