The English Premier League keeps on rolling towards its closing stages this weekend with matchday 27 set to take place, leaving just 11 matchdays afterwards until the end of the season.
This leaves sides all across the table now in their battles with other similarly-placed clubs to achieve their own goals whether this be to win the title, achieve a UEFA Champions League finish or avoid relegation.
With this, there are some hugely important games taking place across the weekend that could prove vital for where they end up at the end of the season.
Read on as we pick out our top tips and booking codes for the EPL weekend:
Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Just one point separates Newcastle United in 10th and Wolverhampton Wanderers in ninth, while a win for either side in this one could see them jump up into seventh place depending on results elsewhere in the competition.
After finishing in the Champions League places last season, Newcastle will be disappointed with how their season has gone so far but they’ll be hoping to get a win in this one and climb back into the European places and potentially make a push for the top five late in the season.
In contrast, Wolves will be delighted with their season so far compared to last season where despite eventually finishing 13th they were threatened with relegation battles throughout the season. This time around they have vastly improved, sitting just six points behind sixth-placed Manchester United and hoping to make a return to European competition since they last took part in 2019/20.
This one is likely to be a hugely entertaining game and is hard to call which way it will go but with Newcastle having the home advantage, where they have been so strong this season, we fancy the Magpies to win this one.

Luton Town vs Aston Villa
Aston Villa have seen a slight downturn in form in recent weeks which has seen them fall out of the title race and now find themselves in a fight to keep their place in the top four. While they currently have a five-point lead over Tottenham Hotspur in fifth, Spurs have a game in hand and could bring the gap down to just two points.
Luton Town are also in a battle of their own as they fight to try and defy the odds and stay in the Premier League after nobody gave them a chance of doing so before the season began. Despite struggling to put points on the board Luton have impressed against some of the division’s top sides, taking Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal right down to the wire.
However, with Everton’s point deduction being reduced to six points instead of 10 they now find themselves four points adrift from safety, albeit with a game in hand on those above them, and so a win here could be crucial in their survival efforts.
While Luton will likely make yet another top-side struggle, we do expect that Aston Villa’s quality will take them to an eventual victory in this one.

Manchester City vs Manchester United
Erling Haaland appeared to be struggling to find the net upon his return from injury back at the end of January, scoring just three times in seven appearances. This all changed in Man City’s FA Cup game against Luton Town though as Haaland scored an outrageous five goals in a 6-2 victory, with Kevin De Bruyne assisting four of them. Since joining City Haaland has enjoyed his matchups with their rivals Manchester United, scoring five in four appearances against the Red Devils.
Man United’s defensive record has been rather shaky this season, conceding 36 goals in 26 league games. With this, we expect City to dominate this game and create a huge number of chances and we believe that Haaland will go on to score at least two in this one.
Erling Haaland to score two or more goals, 2.82
