Allison
Liverpool have the second best defensive record in the league, and this is largely down to the heroics of Allison in goal, who is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Alexander-Arnold has really stepped up his game this season, he has chipped in with six goal contributions and improved the defensive side of his game significantly.
Virgil van Dijk
Van Dijk has been Liverpool’s best player this term alongside Mohamed Salah, being a rock at the back for Jurgen Klopp and been instrumental to the side’s success so far.
Gabriel
Gabriel has been colossal at the back for Arsenal and has been a major part to their defensive success as they have conceded the least amount of goals in the league (24).
Destiny Udogie
Udogie was bought into Tottenham Hotspur by Ange Postecoglou in the summer and has been one of their key players at just 21-years-old, so could go on to be a crucial part of Spurs’ side long-term.
Declan Rice
Rice signed for Arsenal in the summer for a fee in the region of £105m and has proven his worth after he has transformed the side showing both defensive and attacking capabilities throughout the campaign.
Rodri
Spanish midfielder Rodri is one of Manchester City’s most important players, as they have not lost a single game in the league when he has been in the side this term, so will be vital in the business end of the season for Pep Guardiola.
Mohamed Salah
Despite missing parts of the campaign due to injury and international duty, Salah has still racked up an impressive 24 goal contributions in 22 Premier League games for Liverpool.
Phil Foden
Phil Foden has featured in every single game for City this term in the league and has been vital for Guardiola after he has notched 18 goal contributions so far.
Ollie Watkins
Watkins has been arguably the most in-form player in the league this season, after he has reached 26 goal contributions already in 29 league games, which has given Villa a great chance at finishing in the top four.
Erling Haaland
Haaland is the top scorer in the league, netting 18 times already, despite missing a large period due to injury woes which is evidence that he is one of the best goal scorers in world football.
