This season’s UEFA Champions League has already provided some hugely entertaining spectacles, and Europe’s most prestigious competition returns once again this weekend as the final four teams battle it out for a place in the final.
Semi-finals in this competition have been some of the most dramatic matches over the past seasons, and we expect more of the same to come as Bayern Munich host Real Madrid before Borussia Dortmund take on PSG on the following night.
Read on as we pick out our top tips and booking codes for this week’s upcoming UCL fixtures:
Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid is undoubtedly the standout game of the semi-finals, pitting two of the most successful clubs in Europe against one another.
Both sides had difficult games to get to this stage, with Bayern beating Arsenal by a single goal over the two legs and Real Madrid winning against Manchester City on penalties.
This game is set to be another tough encounter for both sides as they come into this tie in great form, with the Germans losing just one of their last nine home games, winning the remaining eight, and Real Madrid currently on an 18-game unbeaten streak.
Bayern may hold the home advantage in this first leg, but Real Madrid just seem to get things done in the Champions League no matter how hard the task at hand, and we expect them to do this once again with a win in this one.
Real Madrid to win, 2.72
A rare dry patch in recent matches from Jude Bellingham saw the midfielder fail to score in six straight games for his club, but he was back in the goals in his last appearance as he scored a 91st-minute winner in the 3-2 victory over Barcelona earlier this month, unbelievably the second stoppage time winner he has scored against Barcelona since joining the club.
Bellingham was benched for Real Madrid’s previous outing against Real Sociedad, leaving him at full fitness going into this game, and the Englishman has consistently performed on the biggest stage throughout this season.
Because of this, we believe that Bellingham will score once again as he continues an excellent first season with the Spanish giants.
Jude Bellingham to score anytime, 3.20
Borussia Dortmund vs PSG
PSG come into this game as strong favourites to progress through to just their second-ever Champions League final, but they will have to put out a strong performance if they are to move past this Borussia Dortmund side.
Fortunately for PSG, Dortmund have failed to win either of their two matches since their 4-2 victory against Atletico Madrid in the second leg, drawing 1-1 with Bayer Leverkusen and losing 4-1 to RB Leipzig.
While this first leg will be especially tough for the French side as they play in front of the yellow wall, we believe that PSG, who secured the Ligue 1 title over the weekend, will go on to win this one.
PSG to win & over 2.5 goals, 3.15
Whenever PSG get a positive result Kylian Mbappe is usually the biggest source of their success, and that is clearly shown through the forward’s incredible 43 goals in 44 games this season, the highest number of goals Mbappe has ever scored in a season.
Mbappe scored twice in PSG’s second-leg comeback victory over Barcelona and added another two in the 4-1 win over Lorient a fortnight ago, leaving the Frenchman coming into this one with four goals in his last three games.
Mbappe has already scored once against Dortmund this season, scoring the first in a 2-0 win for his side during the group stages of this competition, and we believe the forward will get another one against the German side in this game.
Kylian Mbappe to score anytime, 1.95
