Throughout this week the English Premier League teams who hold games in hand have been playing catch up with the rest of the league ahead of the final day of the season, and this will continue on Wednesday with two games set to take place.
Brighton & Hove Albion host Chelsea while Newcastle United travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
In this article, we’re going to take a look at both of these fixtures and pick out our top tips and booking codes:
Brighton vs Chelsea
Despite many people believing that Chelsea have once again massively underperformed this season, an improved run of results in recent months has seen them push up the table and they now find themselves battling for a place in European competition next season.
One loss out of their last 13 league games, including some fantastic wins in that time such as 5-0 vs West Ham and 6-0 vs Everton, has them coming into this one against Brighton in brilliant form. On the other hand, Brighton have massively dropped off since the turn of the year, only picking up four wins in the 17 games they have played in the Premier League.
Newcastle United, who sit above Chelsea in the final European place in sixth thanks to a higher goal difference, also play on Wednesday and that will give Chelsea huge motivation to take all three points in this game.
For these reasons, we believe that Chelsea will be victorious in this one and remain in the fight for Europe until the final day. Four goals in his last three means Nicolas Jackson remains a good shout to get on the scoresheet tonight.

Nicolas Jackson so score anytime, 2.60
Manchester United vs Newcastle United
Alexander Isak has been absolutely sensational for Newcastle throughout this campaign, recording his highest-ever scoring season with 20 goals in 28 games in the league.
With Newcastle likely to be on the front foot throughout this game as they look to take all three points and retain their current sixth place, earning European football in the process, Isak is likely to be on the end of plenty of chances, especially against a Manchester United side who have conceded the most shots of any team in the league.
Eight goals in Isak’s last eight has him in brilliant form coming into this one, and we fancy the striker to get on the scoresheet once again against a rather frail Man United defence. Form also dictates that it’s hard to look past an away win here, a stadium Newcastle ran out 3-0 winners last November in the EFL Cup.
Alexander Isak to score anytime, 2.10
Newcastle to win & over 2.5 goals, 2.82
