A large majority of league’s have come to an end in the past weeks, meaning it is time for the return of international football. A whole host of international matches are set to take place over Thursday and Friday, from international friendlies to World Cup qualifying in Asia and Africa.

Mali come into this game second place in Group I of their World Cup qualifiers after winning one and drawing one of their opening two games, while Ghana are a point worse off after winning one and losing one.
That victory for Ghana was their only win in their last 10 matches and they head into this one on a run of seven games without a victory, while Mali have lost just one of their last 14 across all competitions.
Mali have beaten Ghana in two of the last four meetings and only lost on one occasion in that time, and with them coming into this one in much better form, we believe the hosts will win this one.

Nigeria vs South Africa
Ademola Lookman had yet another fantastic season for Atalanta, recording his most prolific season to date with 17 goals and nine assists, and the campaign came to a close in ideal fashion for both player and club.
Lookman netted a hat-trick in the final of the UEFA Europa League, leading his side to a 3-0 win over the favourites Bayer Leverkusen to win their first-ever piece of European silverware and only their second major trophy in their 117-year history.
The Super Eagles star followed that up with two goals and an assist in the final two matches of the Serie A season, leaving him in scintillating form heading into the game with South Africa, and for that reason, we believe Lookman will get on the scoresheet in this one.

England vs Iceland
England are preparing to head into their final pre-Euro 2024 warm-up game on Friday as they face Iceland before travelling to Germany for their opening game against Serbia on the 16th.
The Three Lions strolled to a comfortable 3-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina in their first friendly even with a second-string 11 on the pitch, and Gareth Southgate will want them to pick up another win against Iceland to keep their momentum going into the tournament.
Southgate is likely to play a stronger side in this game to ensure the entire squad is prepared for the Euros, and we believe they will prove too much for Iceland and go on to win this game.
