Reports are suggesting that talks with PSG have broken down, which has given the two Premier League outfits a major boost in their pursuit to capture the Super Eagles talisman. Wilfred Ndidi, Leicester City
There was a lot of speculation over the future of Wilfred Ndidi after his contract had expired with Leicester City following their promotion back to the English Premier League. However, the Nigerian midfielder has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Foxes which will see him stay at the club until at least 2027.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Leicester City
Kelechi Iheanacho has left Leicester City upon the expiry of his contract, and there are several clubs fighting for his signature on a free transfer. The Nigerian forwards is reportedly on the radar of both Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest who are racing to add him to their squads ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign. (Football Insider)
George Ilenikhena, AS Monaco
Highly rated 17-year-old George Illenikhena has been signed by French giants Monaco for a fee in the region of €20m after his impressive 2023/24 campaign with Royale Antwerp. Ilenikhena netted 14 times in all competitions last term, and is eligible to play for both Nigeria and the France national team.
