The highly anticipated 2024/25 European club football campaign is just around the corner and we picked out some of the key dates for the upcoming season for you to look out for.
The 2024 Euros came to an end over three weeks ago and club football has nearly come back after a short break from major football.
English Premier League

Community Shield 10 August – Bet Here
The Premier League provided some great moments last term and the league was decided on the final day when Manchester City just pipped Arsenal to lift the trophy.
Against all odds, Manchester United beat rivals City in the FA Cup final last term which will certainly give the underdogs of the competition a major boost next term. The two Manchester clubs face off at Wembley on 10 August in the Community Shield for the first piece of silverware in 2024/25.
La Liga

- Copa del Ray final, Saturday 26 April
Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League and La Liga double last term and with the addition of Kylian Mbappe, they are looking like a force to be reckoned with next term.
However, similar to the FA Cup, it was a story for the underdogs in the Copa del Ray as Athletic Club who finished fifth in the league, lifted to Spanish cup.
Serie A

- Coppa Italia final, Wednesday 14 May 2025
The Serie A is set to begin in mid-August and with Inter Milan storming the league last term, they will be favourites to do so again in the 2024/25 season.
Juventus won the Coppa Italia last term, and the final of the competition in 2025 is set to take place 11 days before the league season ends.
Bundesliga

It is important to note that the Bundesliga not does not start until a week after the rest of Europe’s top leagues, and it will be interesting to see if Bayern Munich can bounce back from their failure last term.
Bayer Leverkusen picked up a clean sweep in Germany last term, so they will certainly be the team to beat in all competitions next term.
Ligue 1

Despite winning the league last term, Paris Saint-Germain have lost star man Mbappe this summer, which will give the other sides in the league a major confidence boost in their hopes to win Ligue 1.
PSG also won the Coupe de France last season, but again without Mbappe in their side they look significantly weaker as they head into the 2024/25 campaign.
European competitions

The pinnacle of European football will take place on Saturday 31 May 2025, and the ground that this ever-exciting clash will take place in is the Allianz Arena. The first of eight group stage rounds takes place on 17 September.
The Europa League Final and Conference League Final will both take place on a Wednesday next year, with the holders being Atalanta and Olympiacos respectively.
