Bet9ja FPL Top Managers

The early battle for the top spot in the Bet9ja FPL league is extremely tight, with the top five teams within four points of each other, while there is also a significant chasing pack that are all within touching distance of the top spot.

The current leader of the league is Engr. Mendem, who has just a point lead at the top with 189 points from the first two gameweeks. They had an outstanding gameweek two to push them to the top of the standings, gaining 113 points, largely down to a phenomenal decision to triple captain Erling Haaland against Ipswich Town, picking up 51 points for that decision.

Best Gameweek 3 Picks

Manchester City’s Norwegian talisman, and the man who holds an unbelievable number of FPL records after just two years in the league, is undoubtedly one of the top picks this week, as he always is.

Haaland and Man City face up against West Ham, a team that they have beaten in each of the last four meetings while scoring at least two in all of those matches. Haaland has also enjoyed these matches, scoring in three out of the four games and netting four altogether.

Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke could also be integral players to have in your team for gameweek three, coming into their game against Crystal Palace in unbelievable form after Chelsea put six goals past Wolves. Palmer scored one and assisted three in that game, while Madueke netted a hattrick, making them good picks for a game against a Palace side that have conceded four goals already.

While the usual decision is to captain Haaland, FPL’s Scout Selection have suggested switching this week’s captaincy to Chelsea’s main man in Palmer, who was also one of the highest-scoring FPL players last year and could be a good shout to help gain points on those who may captain other players.
