Manchester City vs Manchester United
Manchester City’s torrid run was extended to just one win in their last 10 matches across all competitions after they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Juventus last time out, remarkably their seventh defeat during that time.
Despite those struggles, a home fixture against city rivals Manchester United, who have also been plagued by inconsistency so far this season, should give them the extra motivation needed to return to their best.
With Man United having lost their last two Premier League outings, 2-0 to Arsenal and 3-2 to Nottingham Forest, they will be desperate to avoid a third successive league loss under Ruben Amorim, while the new boss will also be eager to win his first Manchester derby.
However, the Citizens remain the superior side with better talent across their squad and have lost just one of their last five meetings, meaning we expect a City win here.
Chelsea vs Brentford
