FPL GW4: Who to Pick: 3-4-3
Jordan Pickford – Everton – Goalkeeper (£5.5m)
Pickford sits third among all FPL keepers after three weeks, thanks to a spectacular 15-point haul in Matchday 2. Everton have looked far more solid under their new structure, and a home clash against Aston Villa — who are still yet to score this season — puts Pickford firmly in the frame for another clean sheet.
Daniel Munoz – Crystal Palace – Defender (£5.5m)
Muñoz has been an FPL gem so far, delivering points in every gameweek with two clean sheets and an assist. Palace have only conceded once in five competitive fixtures this season, and the Colombian full-back also carries attacking threat. Sunderland visit Selhurst Park this weekend with the Premier League’s third-worst attacking numbers. Expect Munoz to combine defensive returns with potential attacking joy down the right.
Tino Livramento – Newcastle – Defender (£5.1m)
Livramento has quietly emerged as one of Newcastle’s most reliable performers. Two clean sheets and an assist in three matches put him among the top-scoring defenders so far. Wolves have scored just twice this season, so another strong return looks possible.
Marcos Senesi – Bournemouth – Defender (£4.6m)
Budget defenders don’t come much more appealing than Senesi. The Argentine assisted Evanilson’s winner against Tottenham and has been central to Bournemouth’s bright start, which includes two clean sheets from three. Facing Brighton, who have looked fragile at the back, Senesi carries both defensive and attacking upside.
Cody Gakpo – Liverpool – Midfielder (£7.7m)
Arne Slot has leaned heavily on Gakpo in the opening weeks, with the Dutchman playing 90 minutes in all three matches. One goal, two assists, and team-high numbers for shots and chances created underline his importance. Against Burnley – who have conceded more shots and xG than any other side so far – Gakpo looks like one of the standout midfield picks of GW4.
Antoine Semenyo – Bournemouth – Midfielder (£7.4m)
The second-most transferred-in player of GW4 is catching fire. Two goals, one assist, and the underlying stats to back it up: 10 shots, 9 in the box, and 5 big chances created already. Brighton may have beaten City last time out, but they’ve allowed more chances from Semenyo’s flank than any other side. Starting on the left, the Ghanaian winger could cause havoc once again.
Harvey Barnes – Newcastle – Midfielder (£6.5m)
Benched in GW3 due to a change of formation, Barnes should return to Newcastle’s XI at home to Wolves. His output is consistent when he starts, averaging 5.6 points per game last season , and Wolves’ leaky backline makes him a perfect one-week punt. He’s also scored in two of his last three against Wolves, including the winner at Molineux last season.
Jack Grealish – Everton – Midfielder (£6.7m)
Grealish’s move to Everton has been transformative. Two assists in each of his last two games mean he’s produced back-to-back double-digit hauls. Against Villa – a side still goalless this season – Grealish has the form and confidence to extend his run.

Are you ready to go 1Up?! ?
Hugo Ekitike – Liverpool – Forward (£8.7m)
Liverpool’s new man has adapted seamlessly, with two goals and an assist in three matches. His movement and link-up play with Florian Wirtz have caught the eye, and with Burnley shipping chances for fun. With Isak still to be properly bedded in, Ekitike is a strong forward pick for GW4.
Joao Pedro – Chelsea – Forward (£7.7m)
Two goals and two assists already underline Pedro’s hot start at Stamford Bridge. He’s carried his Club World Cup form straight into the Premier League, and a home fixture against Brentford offers another chance to deliver.
Jean-Philippe Mateta – Crystal Palace – Forward (£7.5m)
Palace’s main striker opened his account in a 3-0 win over Villa and now gets another kind fixture against Sunderland. With penalties in his locker and strong form, Mateta could be one of GW4’s hidden gems.
