As the October international break draws to a close, teams around the world are gearing up for their final matches over the coming days, including several fixtures taking place throughout today.
We take a closer look at a selection of today’s matches and our best booking codes:
Sweden vs Kosovo
Sweden were defeated 2-0 by Kosovo in the last meeting between these two teams in the September international break, leaving today’s hosts eager to get their revenge with a victory in this reverse fixture.
Sweden had won all of the prior three meetings before September’s defeat, including back-to-back 3-0 victories, and we believe the hosts will return to winning ways against Kosovo with a comfortable victory in this one.

Iceland vs France
France head into this matchday four clash with Iceland in UEFA FIFA World Cup qualifying Group D as the as the overwhelming favourites to secure a victory, especially given their dominant record over Iceland.
France are undefeated in their 16 meetings throughout history with Iceland, including 12 wins and four draws, while several of these matches have also included a mass of goals, with over 2.5 goals scored in 11 of the 16 encounters.
With that in mind, we expect France to win this one and at least 2.5 goals to be scored.

Northern Ireland vs Germany
Germany comfortably defeated Northern Ireland 3-1 on matchday two in FIFA World Cup qualifying UEFA Group A during the September international break, with goals from Florian Wirtz, Nadiem Amiri and Serge Gnabry.
Given the dominance displayed by Julian Nagelsmann’s side in that victory, holding 80% possession and taking 11 shots to Northern Ireland’s three, we believe this match will be played out in a similar way, with Germany comfortably winning.

Wales vs Belgium
Wales have now been defeated in each of their last two outings and three of their last four matches, and they are widely expected to lose their third straight fixture when they take on Belgium later today.
Belgium have been in superb form in recent matches, while they have performed superbly in this fixture in the most recent meetings between the two, recording three wins and two draws in the last five encounters.
Over 1.5 goals have been scored in all of those fixtures, including a fantastic 4-3 win for Belgium in their last meeting in June 2025, and we expect this match to follow a similar trend, with Belgium to win and over 1.5 goals scored.
