Nigeria’s AFCON 2025 journey came to a heartbreaking end on penalties as the Super Eagles were beaten 4-2 by hosts Morocco in Rabat.
After 120 goalless minutes, Stanley Nwabali handed Nigeria an early edge in the shootout with a fine save, but missed spot-kicks from Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyemaechi allowed the Atlas Lions to book their place in the final.
