Celtic knocked Rangers out of the Scottish FA Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout victory at Ibrox, but the match ended in chaotic scenes.
Following the final whistle, some Celtic supporters ran onto the pitch to celebrate the win, sparking clashes between fans and prompting police and stewards to intervene. Missiles were reportedly thrown and several skirmishes broke out before order was eventually restored.
Police Scotland later condemned the behaviour, describing the incidents as “shameful” and confirming arrests had been made following the pitch invasion.
