Liberec will fancy their chances of making it back-to-back wins, especially with home advantage and the momentum gained from their statement victory in Plze?. While Teplice have shown they can be dangerous going forward, Liberec’s renewed confidence and strong attacking display last weekend should give them the edge.

Viktoria Plze? vs Brno

Viktoria Plze? will be looking to respond after suffering a surprise 3-1 defeat to Slovan Liberec in their league opener, a result that ended plenty of optimism following a solid pre-season.

Brno, meanwhile, enjoyed a positive start on their return to the top flight with a victory, giving them confidence ahead of what will be one of their toughest away fixtures of the season.

Plze? have an excellent recent record against Brno and will be eager to bounce back in front of their home fans. Their quality, experience and strong home form over the years should prove too much for the visitors, even if Brno arrive with momentum.

Nordsjælland vs Randers

FC Nordsjælland have made a positive start to the new Danish Superliga campaign and will aim to build on that momentum at Right to Dream Park.

The hosts have been strong on home soil in recent seasons, while Randers have found consistency harder to come by and have struggled for results away from home.

Nordsjælland’s attacking style and impressive home record make them favourites to claim all three points. They have also enjoyed success against Randers in recent home meetings, and with their young, energetic squad expected to control the game, they should have enough quality to secure another victory.

PSV vs AZ Alkmaar

PSV begin the new campaign with another opportunity to add silverware after an outstanding domestic season in which they once again established themselves as the team to beat in the Netherlands.

AZ Alkmaar also enjoyed a strong campaign and remain one of the Eredivisie’s most competitive sides, setting up what promises to be an entertaining battle between two of the country’s top clubs.

PSV’s quality in attack, home advantage and winning mentality in big games make them favourites heading into this clash. While AZ have enough talent to make life difficult, PSV’s superior squad depth and ability to deliver on the big occasion should see them come out on top.

Ludogorets vs Botev Vratsa

Ludogorets have made a perfect start to the new Bulgarian league season, winning both of their opening matches while keeping clean sheets in each.

The reigning champions have also dominated this fixture over the years, winning every one of their last six meetings with Botev Vratsa and extending a long-standing superiority in the head-to-head record.

Botev Vratsa have picked up just one point from their opening two league games and now face one of the toughest away trips in Bulgarian football.

With Ludogorets boasting superior quality, home advantage and an outstanding record against this opponent, the hosts look well placed to continue their winning start.

Ferencvárosi vs Vasas

Ferencvárosi have started the new Hungarian NB I season with confidence and continue to build on an impressive run that also includes progress in European competition.
