England have also scored in each of their last five matches, giving them plenty of attacking confidence heading into this clash.
Recent meetings between the two nations have usually been closely fought, with four of their last five encounters seeing both sides find the net. Spain won the most recent meeting 2–1 in the Euro 2024 final, while England claimed a memorable 3–2 victory in their previous Nations League meeting in 2018. CZECHIA VS CROATIA
Czechia begin their UEFA Nations League campaign at home against Croatia, with both sides looking to make a positive start in a difficult group that also includes England and Spain. Czechia exited the 2026 World Cup at the group stage, while Croatia reached the knockout rounds before losing to Portugal. The Czechs have also been given a new manager in Santi Denia, while Slaven Bilic has returned to lead Croatia.
The head-to-head record has been closely contested, with four of their six previous meetings ending in draws, although Croatia have won twice. Their last meeting finished 0–0, but the earlier qualifier produced a 5–1 Croatian victory, showing how quickly this fixture can change when the game opens. With both teams entering a new chapter under different coaches, the clash in Prague could bring plenty of attacking moments at both ends.

SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER
SERBIA VS NETHERLANDS
Serbia welcome the Netherlands to the Rajko Miti? Stadium for the second round of their Nations League campaign, with both sides entering the game under new circumstances. Serbia have endured a difficult run of results, while the Netherlands have also started a new era under Xavi Hernández. The Dutch opened their Nations League campaign with a 1–1 draw against Germany, whereas Serbia suffered a 2–1 defeat to Greece.
The Netherlands have won the last two meetings between these nations, including a 6–1 victory in their most recent competitive encounter. Serbia will have home support behind them, but injuries to key players such as Aleksandar Mitrovi?, Dušan Vlahovi? and Nikola Milenkovi? could make the task more difficult. With the Dutch possessing plenty of attacking quality and looking for their first win under Xavi, the visitors will be aiming to take control of the contest in Belgrade.

Norway welcome Portugal to Ullevaal Stadion in a heavyweight Nations League clash, with both sides beginning a new chapter. Norway have returned to League A for the first time and come into the campaign after reaching the 2026 World Cup quarterfinals, while Portugal are the reigning Nations League champions and have appointed Jorge Jesus as their new head coach. Both teams have plenty of attacking quality, led by Erling Haaland for Norway and Cristiano Ronaldo among Portugal’s options.
The head-to-head record has been tight in competitive meetings, with Norway winning 1–0 in Oslo before Portugal claimed a 1–0 victory in the return Euro 2012 qualifier. Their most recent meeting, a 2016 friendly, ended 3–0 to Portugal. Germany face Greece at the WWK Arena in Augsburg, looking to build on their Nations League campaign. Greece, meanwhile, are competing in League A for the first time after earning promotion with a 3–0 away win over Scotland.
Germany have dominated the recent head-to-head meetings, winning the last three encounters, including a 2–1 victory in their most recent meeting in June 2024. Greece have struggled for goals in their recent matches, while Germany have scored 13 times across their last five games. With home advantage and greater attacking depth, Germany will be looking to take control of the game from the opening whistle.
