The UEFA competitions are back this week, and there has been a trend of high-scoring games this season, which fills us with confidence ahead of this week’s fixtures.

We have done our analysis, and here are five goalscorer bets you should put your money on.

Ademola Lookman vs Club Brugge

Atletico Madrid played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Brugge last week, but Diego Simeone’s side should be able to see off the Belgian side in a second leg in front of home support. Atleti beat Espanyol 4-2 in La Liga at the weekend with Nigerian star Ademola Lookman getting on the scoresheet, his sixth goal contribution in six games.

Simeone’s men have also been involved in several high-scoring games since the start of 2026, with 35 goals in the last eight games they have been involved in. We expect Atleti to go through, and Lookman should continue his excellent run with another goal.

Anthony Gordon vs Qarabag

Newcastle won the first leg in Baku last week and should only increase their 6-1 aggregate lead over Qarabag in Tuesday’s return leg at St James’ Park. Eddie Howe’s side did all the hard work in the opening 45 minutes as they raced into a 5-0 lead at the break and are heavy favourites to pile on the misery here. Anthony Gordon scored four times in the first leg and will be eager to add more goals to his tally as the Magpies look to seal qualification for the round of 16. The 25-year-old is also Newcastle’s penalty taker, which boosts his chances to score.

Desire Doue vs Monaco

Despite going 2-0 down in the first leg, a dominant PSG display saw them battle back with relative ease to bring an advantage back to the capital for this second leg. The Parisians followed that up with a 3-0 success against Metz on Saturday as they moved back to the Ligue 1 summit; having rested most of their key players in that game, they should come at this clash with a fresh approach. Desire Doue has three goals in his last two games for PSG, and Ousmane Dembélé’s injury absence should afford the 20-year-old another chance from the start here.

Vinícius Junior vs Benfica

Real Madrid defeated Benfica 1-0 in an intense and controversial first leg in Portugal last week, so this should be a thrilling second leg. As far as the game itself, Los Blancos will be desperate to bounce back from their shock 2-1 defeat to Osasuna at the weekend. All eyes will be on Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior, especially since he’s scored five times across his last four appearances and was the subject of alleged racist abuse in the first leg. The Brazilian will be desperate to have the final word in a tense second leg.

Deniz Undav vs Celtic

Stuttgart dismantled Celtic 4-1 in the first leg of their Europa League play-off clash, and the smart money is on another goal-fest this time around. The Bundesliga side followed that up with a 3-3 draw against Heidenheim at the weekend, taking their tally to 10 goals scored in three matches. Deniz Undav came off the bench to score in that game, taking his goal-tally to five in his last seven, and we can see him doing the damage against a porous Celtic defence.
