We’re currently on a hot streak, and after going 5 from 5 with our picks last time out, we’re feeling extra confident this weekend.

If you snooze, you lose, so stick around as we deliver the best goalscorer bets from the top leagues. Remember, these picks are well-researched and analysed to give you the best chance of winning.

Here are five players we believe have the highest chances of scoring this weekend and you can bet on all five right here at Bet9ja!

Mohamed Salah vs Newcastle

Liverpool are still reeling from their UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of PSG in midweek. There were several fallouts from the game, but one main talking point was Mohamed Salah, and his Ballon d’Or hopes.

The Egyptian will be eager to get back on track against Newcastle this weekend, after a poor showing in midweek. What better way to do that than by leading his team to their first trophy of the season?

The EFL Cup may not be as prestigious as the FA Cup, Premier League, or Champions League, but Liverpool desperately need to restore that feel-good factor this weekend.

Salah has 32 goals across all competitions this season, and we expect him to add to that tally.

Erling Haaland vs Brighton

Manchester City have blown hot and cold this season, finding themselves in a top-four battle with Chelsea and Newcastle. Pep Guardiola’s men suffered a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend, and another defeat here could seriously dent their Champions League aspirations for next season.

We haven’t always backed Erling Haaland to score in our weekly picks, but that’s a fair reflection of the club’s performances, not an indictment on the player himself.

The Norwegian has still managed an impressive 28 goals in what has been an underwhelming season for the champions, while averaging 3.7 shots per game.

Nine of the last 10 meetings between both sides have seen two or more goals scored, and we expect more of the same here.

Chris Wood vs Ipswich

Nottingham Forest travel to Ipswich this weekend in joyful mood after beating defending champions Manchester City 1-0 last week, a result that tightened their grip on a UEFA Champions League qualification place.

One man who has been key to this incredible run is Chris Wood. The 33-year-old has scored 18 goals in the league this season, just two goals behind second-place Erling Haaland. Wood has a knack for being in the right place at the right time.

Even though Ipswich are fighting for their lives, they haven’t shown nearly enough to suggest they can put up a solid defensive display to stop the Tricky Trees.

The last two meetings have been close games, with Forest winning the reverse fixture 1-0 and relying on penalties to advance in the FA Cup after a 1-1 draw.

However, Ipswich have regressed since their last meeting, and we are counting on Wood to continue his red-hot form.

Harry Kane vs Union Berlin

Bayern Munich travel to Union Berlin in fine mood after dispatching Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, winning 5-0 on aggregate.

Vincent Kompany’s men are eight points clear at the top with nine games to go, and another win here will put them closer to retaining their crown.

Harry Kane has been in excellent form, scoring three goals in his last three games and 32 goals for the season overall. As Bayern’s penalty taker, and one of the best in the world from the spot, we have extra incentive to pick him.

Bayern haven’t lost to Union Berlin since 2009, and Kane scored twice when both teams met last November. We’re backing the England captain to continue his fine form here.

Ivan Toney vs Al Okhdood

Finally, we head to the temporary home of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Pro League. But instead of backing the iconic Portuguese, we’re betting on Al Ahli star forward Ivan Toney.

Al Ahli are fifth in the standings, which is disappointing considering the pre-season expectations, but Toney has been doing his job, banging in the goals.

He is currently just two goals off Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for the Golden Boot, with 16 goals to his name, and has scored 10 goals in his last 10 games.

This weekend’s opponents, Al Okhdood, are 17th in the standings, with just one win in their last 10 games. Al Ahli should have little trouble running up the score.
