The football season across Europe’s top five leagues has been thrilling, packed with goals, surprises, and excitement.

The action continues this weekend, with history suggesting we’ll see plenty of goals on the final day, especially in the English Premier League.

Here are 5 goalscorer tips worth backing this weekend, based on our expert analysis.

Bet on all five right here at Bet9ja!

Evanilson vs Leicester City

Bournemouth’s English Premier League season has been very good, relative to expectations, but a tough run of just two wins in their last 12 games has seen them miss out on European football. Still, the Cherries have a chance to finish in the top half and will aim to end the campaign strongly against already relegated Leicester this weekend.

The hosts have enough firepower to trouble the Foxes, who have conceded at least two goals in 15 of their 18 away matches this season. Bournemouth, themselves, have only kept two clean sheets in their last 15 games, so expect an open contest.

Our goalscorer pick is Evanilson, who’s back in form after an injury layoff, scoring five goals in his last nine matches.

Alexander Isak vs Everton

Newcastle head into the final day against Everton knowing a win will secure a spot in next season’s Champions League. The Magpies are currently third with 66 points, level with Chelsea and Aston Villa but with a better goal difference than Villa. Everton are locked into 13th place and have nothing to play for on Sunday.

Eddie Howe’s side has been in fine form at home, winning their last six league games at St. James’ Park, with three of those matches producing at least four goals.

Star man Alexander Isak, who has had another outstanding season, with 23 league goals, is a doubt after missing the recent loss to Arsenal. If he’s fit to play, the Swede is a standout choice to score anytime.

Victor Osimhen vs Goztepe

Galatasaray are off to face Goztepe SK this weekend for their last away game of the 2024–25 Turkish Super Lig season, with their 25th league title and a historic fifth star already in the bag.

Okan Buruk’s men have been a dominant force all season, racking up an incredible 87 goals in the league alone.

The loan signing of Victor Osimhen proved a masterstroke, with the Nigerian striker netting 25 league goals, to fill the void left by Mauro Icardi’s season-ending injury.

Even though the title’s secured, don’t expect Galatasaray to take their foot off the gas, especially with Osimhen on fire. Expect the in-form Nigerian to keep up his scoring streak in this one.

Mohamed Salah vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool let a 2-1 lead slip to lose 3-2 at Brighton on Monday, but with the Premier League title already in the bag, it doesn’t really matter to the fans in the grand scheme.

The champions haven’t won a game since they sealed the title with a 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham, and their intensity has dropped in recent matches.

Crystal Palace are in a similar mood, with their supporters celebrating a surprise FA Cup win over Manchester City. Three of Palace’s last four away games and all of Liverpool’s last four matches have seen over 3.5 goals, so this should be another high-scoring game.

We are picking Mohamed Salah (again) to score, despite his horrific form over the past month. We have a gut feeling he could end the season with a flourish and add to his 28 league goals.

Kylian Mbappe vs Real Sociedad

Real Madrid have little left to play for, but they can end the season on a high with a big win over Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu. Despite falling short of Barcelona, Los Blancos have been in good form, winning nine of their last 11 league games, including their last three at home.

Real Sociedad, on the other hand, are finding wins hard to come by, having failed to secure victory in six of their last seven matches.

Goals have been common in Sociedad’s away games, with over 2.5 goals landing in seven of their last eight road games, and this match could follow the same pattern.

Kylian Mbappe is enjoying an impressive first season in Madrid, with 29 league goals, including nine in his last six games, making him our goalscorer pick here. If he scores, he will also secure the European Golden Boot, giving him great incentive to do so.
