We’re at the final stages of the season, and most teams still fighting until the end – some to avoid relegation, others for the title, and European spots.

This weekend offers some mouth-watering fixtures, and we have analysed the games to bring you the best bets to boost your chances of winning.

Here are 5 goalscorer bets for this weekend’s action. Let’s get right into it and you can bet on all five right here at Bet9ja! (all odds at time of writing)

Alexander Isak vs Ipswich

Newcastle were thumped 4-1 by Aston Villa at Villa Park last weekend and cannot afford to take their foot off the gas in the race for Champions League football. The good news for the Magpies is that this weekend’s opponents are an Ipswich team all but mathematically relegated to the Championship and are unlikely to put up much of a fight.

Before the loss to Villa, Newcastle had beaten Leicester, Manchester United, and Crystal Palace by an aggregate score of 12-1, and should win this game comfortably.

Alexander Isak is our goalscorer pick for this one. He is Newcastle’s top scorer with 21 league goals and scored a hat-trick the last time both sides met in December.

Matheus Cunha vs Leicester City

Leicester’s defeat to Liverpool last weekend confirmed their relegation to the Championship. They also became the first team to go nine consecutive home games without scoring, and their lack of quality up top could again cost them this weekend.

Wolves have not been renowned for their defensive prowess this campaign, but they’ve looked much improved under Vitor Pereira and have won their last five league games.

Matheus Cunha has been their standout player this season, scoring 16 goals in 31 appearances, including seven in his last 10 games. We’re backing him to deepen Leicester’s woes this weekend.

Mason Greenwood vs Brest

Marseille are finding form at the right time, with last weekend’s 5-1 win over Montpellier serving as a timely boost to their Champions League hopes for next season. They welcome Brest to the Velodrome this weekend, where they’ve been dominant, winning 5 of their last 6 games.

Brest, on the other hand, are unlikely to pose much of a threat, having managed just one win in their last five away games. They’ve already suffered a 5-1 defeat in the reverse fixture back in November.

Mason Greenwood scored a brace against Montpellier and has netted three goals in his last three appearances. He also scored twice in the reverse fixture, making him an excellent pick for goalscorer.

Viktor Gyokeres vs Boavista

The Portuguese league is set to go down to the wire, with leaders Sporting and Benfica tied on 72 points. Every game is a must-win from now, and Sporting must take maximum points against Boavista this weekend. Luckily, they’re in outstanding form, unbeaten in their last 12 matches, including five wins from their last six league games.

The key to Sporting’s excellent season has been the incredible performances of main striker Viktor Gyokeres. The 26-year-old Swede has scored 48 goals in 47 games this season, including 13 in his last 10 appearances.

Sporting won the reverse fixture 3-2 back in December and have actually won four of the last five meetings between both sides.

Vangelis Pavlidis vs AVS

Benfica are in a thrilling two-horse race with Sporting for the Primeira Liga title and are heavy favorites for this weekend’s visit of AVS.

The hosts have won seven of their last eight games, and momentum is flowing after completing a 9-0 aggregate win over fourth-tier club Tirsense in the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup on Wednesday.

They’ve also been incredible at home, winning 13 of their 15 league games. Star striker Pavlidis was rested for the cup demolition and should return to lead the line this weekend. The Greek forward has netted 27 goals for Benfica this season, including seven in his last six games. If there’s one man who can deliver the goods, Pavlidis fits the bill.

Pavlidis to score anytime @1.55
