The club football season for 2024-25 may be over, but the beautiful game never stops! This week, international fixtures steal the spotlight, with nations battling it out in the UEFA Nations League, World Cup qualifiers, and more.

We’ve gone through the upcoming matches and hand-picked five goalscorer bets to boost your chances of landing a big win. Bet on all five tips right here at Bet9ja!

Romelu Lukaku vs North Macedonia

After battling past Ukraine 4-3 on aggregate to maintain their place in League A of the UEFA Nations League in March, Belgium boss Rudi Garcia can now focus fully on the World Cup.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in World Cup qualifying since 2009 (W23, D5) and look set to roll over North Macedonia this week.

Our goalscorer pick is Romelu Lukaku, who bagged a brace in Belgium’s 3-0 victory against Ukraine in March and scored twice in his final three club games to help Napoli clinch the Serie A title – back him to score anytime!

Brennan Johnson vs Liechtenstein

Wales kick off their World Cup 2026 qualifying campaign at the Cardiff City Stadium this Friday, facing minnows Liechtenstein. Ranked 205th out of 210 by FIFA, the visitors are in for a tough night, and anything less than a big win for Wales would be a shocker.

Liechtenstein have leaked 10 goals in their last four matches against teams like Malta, San Marino, North Macedonia, and Kazakhstan—three of those at home.

We’re backing Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson to shine. He netted twice in his final four club games, including the winner in the Europa League Final. Trust him to find the net anytime for Wales!

Ante Budimir vs Gibraltar

Not many people expect much from Gibraltar, who are ranked 196th in the world, especially against an experienced side like Croatia.

They have lost all 22 of their World Cup qualifying matches, winning just twice in all competitions since 2023. On paper, this should be an easy win for Croatia, who can call on the in-form Ante Budimir.

The Osasuna striker finished the season with 24 goals and added one in Croatia’s 2-0 win over France in March. He’s a top pick to score anytime.

Jhon Duran vs Peru

Colombia are closing in on a top-six spot in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying, with just four games left to secure their first finals appearance since 2018.

They host Peru, who also missed out since 2018 and trail the top six by 10 points. A loss could end Peru’s automatic qualification hopes, especially since they’ve failed to score in seven of their last eight away qualifiers.

With Luis Diaz suspended, the scoring burden may fall to Jhon Durán, who’s found the net in two of his last three home internationals. The Al Nassr star is our anytime goalscorer pick for this one.

Duran to score anytime @2.70

Julian Alvarez vs Chile

Time is running out for Chile to reach their first World Cup since 2014, sitting bottom of the CONMEBOL standings with a dismal run (D4, L8). Argentina, already qualified, will look to keep their momentum rolling, and Lionel Scaloni’s side will certainly keep their foot on the gas.

Lionel Messi is expected back after missing March’s internationals due to injury, but our goalscorer pick is Julian Alvarez. The Atletico Madrid forward enjoyed a stellar first season, scoring 29 goals across all competitions, and we expect him to punish Chile’s defence.
