The Premier League has just four remaining matchdays until the season comes to its end, leaving every game highly important with each team fighting for every last point in order to achieve the objectives they have set themselves, whether this be to win the league, finish in the top four or avoid relegation.
While every game is important, some provide much more challenging tasks and hold more weight than others in the outcome of the Premier League table.

1 – Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal

The final North-London derby of this season takes place later this week, with Tottenham looking to make ground up on Aston Villa, who sit in fourth place and six points above Spurs, with Ange Postecoglou’s side boasting two games in hand. As for Arsenal, they remain firmly in the title race as they seek their first Premier League trophy in 20 years.
A win for both sides would not only be crucial to their hopes of achieving their aims come the end of the season, but the chance of ruining their rivals’ hopes would be an added benefit.
2 – Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham are involved once again in this one when they make the trip to face Liverpool at Anfield in what is set to be Jurgen Klopp’s penultimate game in front of a home crowd.
Liverpool, similarly to Arsenal, are well placed in the title race and a victory could go a long way to keeping themselves in the battle for top spot.
The reverse fixture between these two sides was filled with drama when Spurs ran out 2-1 winners thanks to Joel Matip’s late own goal, while Luis Diaz’s goal was controversially ruled out despite being clearly onside. This game has all the makings to be yet another fantastic matchup with so much on the line for both sides.
3 – Everton vs Sheffield United

Moving to the opposite end of the table for this one we have the game between Everton and Sheffield United, with both sides aiming to move out of the relegation zone ahead of the end of the season.
Sheffield United’s fate may well be sealed by then as they currently trail safety by 10 points with just five games left to play, but Everton could well be looking at a repeat of last season where they saved themselves on the final day of the season.
A win in this one for Everton could help them to avoid such a dramatic finish to the campaign, ensuring they keep their record of not being relegated from the top division since 1950-51.
4 – Aston Villa vs Liverpool

Aston Villa vs Liverpool holds a lot of weight in the title race and race for top four, with this game coming in the penultimate matchday of the season.
Aston Villa could well secure their place in Champions League football next season in this game, while Liverpool could move one step closer to securing their 20th league title.
5 – Burnley vs Nottingham Forest
May 19 2024
The final day of the season provides what could become one of the most dramatic relegation fixtures in Premier League history as Burnley take on Nottingham Forest.
Burnley sit in 19th and just three points behind Nottingham Forest in 17th heading into the final four matchdays of the season, and if things remain this way going into the final day of the campaign then we could see a situation where the winner of this tie remains in the division.
