Jay-Jay Okocha will certainly go down as one of Nigeria’s best ever players to play in England, after his dazzling tricks and skills mesmerised defenders and was a joy for all football fans to watch across the 144 appearances that he made in the Premier League.

John Mikel-Obi

John Mikel-Obi is the man who takes our top spot for best Nigerian’s to ever grace the Premier League, after he notched 249 appearances, won an impressive three FA Cups, two Premier League titles, the Europa League and also added a Champions League trophy to his accolades with Chelsea.

The talented midfielder was recognised for his ability in his early playing days, after he was named Chelsea young player of the year in 2007, and was the youngest player to reach 100 appearances for the Blues.
