Tonight is the beginning of the final matchday in this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage, with half the games set to take place tonight and the other half tomorrow evening.

Copenhagen and Galatasaray both sit on five points after five games and with Manchester United just one point behind, the race for second spot is still alive for all three of these sides. Napoli and Braga are still both able to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages in second place in the group, with Braga three points behind Napoli coming into this game. However, Napoli certainly hold all the cards going into this one and are extreme favourites with them able to qualify with a win, draw, or a one-goal defeat.
Napoli are coming into this one on the back of three straight defeats, compared to Braga winning four of their last five. However, with this game being so important to the Italian side and it taking place at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, the Napoli fans are sure to create a huge atmosphere that we believe will help push their team on to take the victory. RC Lens to win, 1.98
RC Lens vs Sevilla
While qualification out of the group stage and into the Champions League knockout rounds is now impossible for Lens and Sevilla, both sides are still able to win the consolation of Europa League football with a third place finish.
The previous match between these two sides ended in a 1-1 draw, meaning this becomes a straight shootout for third spot with Sevilla needing to win and Lens needing a draw or a win to take third spot thanks to their current three point advantage.
Although Sevilla are the most successful side in Europa League history with seven titles, their form this season suggests a win here to qualify for their beloved competition is extremely unlikely. Just two wins in their last 15 games, with both of these coming against lower league opponents in the Copa del Ray, we can’t see Sevilla managing to take the three points of a Lens side who have lost just one home game all season. For this reason, we believe Lens will take the three points and stride into the Europa League knockouts.
