Throughout this week six English Premier League matches are set to take place as teams from across the league play in fixtures that have been rescheduled from earlier in the season. These six games provide some huge matches that could have large effects on the outcome of each team’s season and the overall league table.
The standout games see Arsenal host Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, with the Merseyside derby taking place on Wednesday night when Liverpool face Everton at Goodison Park.
These games, as well as the remaining four, are sure to provide plenty of drama and action, and we’re going to pick out our top tips for the upcoming games:

Arsenal vs Chelsea
Arsenal actually head into this game in rather poor form for the standards that they have set this season, winning just one of their last four matches after drawing the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Bayern Munich and losing the second, sandwiched around a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa.
They did return to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Wolves last weekend, and with the title race heating up towards the end of the season every point is starting to mean much more. While Chelsea have lost just one of their last nine across all competitions, we believe that the added incentive of remaining in the title race will boost Arsenal to eventually claiming the three points.

Leandro Trossard’s move from Brighton to Arsenal was one that many people doubted, with people questioning whether he was good enough for a side that had ambitions of winning the Premier League.
However, the forward has been excellent throughout his season and a half at Arsenal, scoring 15 and assisting 12 in 63 matches, with plenty of those appearances coming from the bench.
With three goals in his last five games, we believe that Trossard will continue his goalscoring form and get on the scoresheet in this one.

Everton vs Liverpool
Mohamed Salah has been going through a tough run of form for Liverpool in recent weeks, scoring just twice in his last six games with both of those being penalties, while his performances have been largely poor.
Despite this, the forward always causes problems for an opposition defence no matter the form he is in, and Everton have not enjoyed playing against the Egyptian in recent years.
Salah has scored seven goals in 10 matchups against Everton, while he has only lost against the blue half of Merseyside on one occasion. With this, we believe that Salah will get on the scoresheet once again.

Liverpool have only lost one of the last 20 meetings between these two sides, with this loss coming in 2021 when Everton famously won 2-0 at Anfield. Everton have only managed to score one goal in the following five matchups, with Liverpool winning four of these.
We believe that a similar pattern will be seen in this game, with Liverpool’s overwhelming quality proving too much for Everton to deal with as they go on to take the three points.

Brighton vs Manchester City
Erling Haaland has found himself in a similar vein of form to Salah in recent weeks, scoring just two goals in his last nine games for both club and country, with one of these being a penalty. Despite this, Haaland still tops the goalscoring charts in the Premier League thanks to his fantastic efforts in the first half of the season.
While the striker is in undeniably poor form, it’s hard to ever bet against the Norwegian scoring with him showing time and time again that he is one of the best goalscorers the Premier League has ever seen.
With this, we believe that Haaland will finally get back to scoring ways starting with a goal in this one.

Manchester City’s 5-1 win against Luton Town last weekend saw them move to the top of the table before Liverpool and Arsenal’s games took place. Both their title rivals unbelievably lost their games though, leaving City in a fantastic position to go on and win the league.
Since then, both Liverpool and Arsenal have played an extra game due to City’s involvement in the FA Cup semi-finals with Chelsea, which both Liverpool and Arsenal won. This leaves City a point behind the top two, but holding a game in hand that would see them return to the top of the league.
With the knowledge that a win would return them to the driving seat, as well as their fantastic record against Brighton that has seen them go unbeaten in their last five meetings, we believe City will win this one.
