Bet9ja FPL Picks & Prizes: Who to Choose for GW11

Gameweek 11 arrives after one of the strangest Premier League starts in recent memory. Apart from Arsenal sitting comfortably at the top and Wolves rooted to the bottom, everything else is chaos.

Newly promoted Sunderland are in the top four, Liverpool went on their worst run of defeats in 11 years, Nottingham Forest are on their third manager of the season and sit second from bottom…and the entire table feels like it could flip again at any moment.

With another unpredictable weekend ahead, a 4-5-1 formation gives the best blend of defensive stability and midfield upside for GW11. Here are the players who stand out.

GK: David Raya – Arsenal – £5.8m

David Raya remains the ultimate FPL goalkeeper pick. Arsenal’s defensive numbers are in a league of their own, with the fewest goals conceded and the strongest underlying metrics across the division. Raya benefits directly from that stability, offering clean-sheet potential in almost every fixture while also collecting save points in tighter matches. With a favourable run of games ahead and Arsenal showing no signs of slowing down, he stands out as one of the safest long-term picks in the game and an ideal GW11 option.

DF: Gabriel – Arsenal – £6.6m (Captain)

There is no hotter defensive asset in FPL. Gabriel has produced nine points or more in six of his last seven fixtures and now leads the defender rankings with 80 points. His aerial dominance at set pieces continues to deliver attacking threat, while Arsenal’s defensive record remains the best in the league. He is now not just a defender pick but a genuine captaincy contender in any Gameweek. Another strong fixture makes him an automatic inclusion.

DF: Trevoh Chalobah – Chelsea – £5.1m

Chalobah has started every Premier League match he has been available for, giving him rare reliability under Enzo Maresca. He was rested in midweek Champions League action, which strengthens confidence in his GW11 minutes. Wolves at home is a favourable fixture against a side that have scored only seven goals all season. Chalobah brings more than clean-sheet potential. He has already produced two goals, an assist, three big chances and has hit the defensive contribution threshold three times. Chelsea’s upcoming fixtures against Burnley, Leeds and Fulham also strengthen his medium-term appeal. As a differential, he ticks every box.

DF: Reece James – Chelsea – £6.2m

James continues to rediscover his best form and has quietly become one of the highest-impact full-backs in the league over the last six weeks. With three assists in that period and strong underlying creativity numbers, the signs are encouraging. Wolves’ attacking numbers are among the worst in the division, so clean-sheet potential is high, while James’ ability to create big chances makes him one of the most explosive defender picks available.

DF: Adrien Truffert – Bournemouth – £4.5m

Truffert is a value defender with upside. Bournemouth’s next run of fixtures – West Ham, Sunderland, Everton and Aston Villa – provides a platform for steady returns. His attacking numbers so far include an assist, four shots, six key passes and repeated defensive contribution thresholds. Bournemouth’s defensive shape has tightened and Truffert’s heat maps show him constantly advancing into the final third. He is a strong enabler with potential for breakout hauls during this run.

MF: Declan Rice – Arsenal – £6.8m

Arsenal defenders are dominating FPL, but picking three of them locks out one of this season’s most valuable midfielders. Rice has amassed 43 points across the last five Gameweeks thanks to elite defensive contribution volume, set-piece involvement and an increasing attacking presence in Arteta’s system. His all-action style gives him multiple routes to points, and with Arsenal’s dominance growing, he becomes a standout engine-room asset.

MF: Morgan Gibbs-White – Nottingham Forest – £7.3m

Despite Forest’s chaotic season and their slide toward the bottom, Gibbs-White looks revitalised under Sean Dyche. He has started every match under the new manager, scored twice and appears to have regained penalty responsibilities. Forest now face back-to-back home fixtures against Leeds and Brighton, two sides yet to keep an away clean sheet this season. Wolves follow in GW14. Gibbs-White leads Forest for shots, shots in the box and xGI over the last five matches and offers strong mid-priced value.

MF: Rayan Cherki – Manchester City – £6.3m

Cherki is fast becoming one of the most interesting midfield picks in FPL. A goal and assist in the EFL Cup, two Premier League assists in GW10, and a Champions League goal in midweek have put him firmly on the radar. His rate of creating a big chance every 40 minutes is the best among all midfielders in the league. While rotation is always a risk at Manchester City, the upside is enormous and Liverpool’s away defensive numbers this season offer a surprising opportunity. With City entering a long favourable FDR run, Cherki is a timely differential gamble.

MF: Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United – £8.5m

Fernandes remains at the heart of everything Manchester United create. Over the past six Gameweeks he ranks inside the top three midfielders for shots, chances created and expected goals. United have scored 13 goals in this period, the most in the league, and Fernandes continues to deliver consistency even when the team fluctuates. With Spurs failing to keep clean sheets and United at full attacking strength, Fernandes retains strong appeal.

MF: Ismaïla Sarr – Crystal Palace – £6.6m

Palace’s attack has exploded under Oliver Glasner and Sarr is one of the main beneficiaries. He ranks inside the top three midfielders for non-penalty xG and big chances per 90 and is behind only Mateta for goal threat at Selhurst Park. A run of fixtures including Brighton, Manchester United, Wolves and Burnley offers ideal opportunity for returns. His pace and direct dribbling make him one of the best differentials in the game.

FW: Jarrod Bowen – West Ham – £7.7m

Bowen remains West Ham’s most reliable FPL asset and a home fixture against Burnley is perfect for short-term managers looking to attack GW11. The Hammers grabbed just their second win of the season last week against Newcastle, and are well placed to get their third. Burnley rank bottom in the league for shots faced, big chances conceded, xGC and shots allowed inside the box. Bowen’s underlying numbers remain excellent and even with a difficult run ahead, his quality makes him hard to overlook.
