Girona vs Liverpool
Liverpool have been the standout performers in the Champions League so far this season, remaining the only side to have won all of their league phase fixtures as they sit top of the table with 15 points from five games.
Girona, on the other hand, are in 30th with just one win and four losses from their five games, meaning securing points in their final three matches is vital if they are to move into the top 24 and progress into the knockout rounds.
The hosts are also in poor form in domestic competition heading into this game, having lost two and drawn two of their last four, while Liverpool remain unbeaten in their last 17 matches across all competitions.
With Liverpool undoubtedly the favourites, we expect them to win, and given the vast number of goals they have scored this season, we believe this game will have plenty of goals in store.
Liverpool to win & over 2.5 goals, 1.89
Atalanta vs Real Madrid
Atalanta are heading into this game in simply unbelievable form, having won all of their last nine matches across all competitions while also remaining undefeated in their past 14 games, with two draws and 12 wins.
Real Madrid, in comparison, have been extremely inconsistent in recent outings with five defeats and four wins in their last nine, results that have been particularly destructive to their Champions League campaign.
The visitors sit in the final qualification place in 24th with just six points from five matches, meaning wins in their final three games could be vital if they are to secure their place in the next round, while the hosts sit in fifth with 11 points.
While Real Madrid undoubtedly boast the greater talent across their squad, their recent inconsistency combined with Atalanta’s remarkable form leads us to believe the hosts will win here and Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman netting his 11th goal of an excellent season.
Lookman to score anytime, 2.85
Bayer Leverkusen vs Inter
Sixth-placed Bayer Leverkusen are set to face second-placed Inter in a clash between two of the top-performing sides in the Champions League on Tuesday, with both aiming to secure victories to further solidify their place in the top eight.
Leverkusen are unbeaten in their last six games with five consecutive wins heading into this one, while Inter remain undefeated in their last 13 with two draws and 11 wins, as well as remaining undefeated in their first five Champions League games with four wins and one draw.
With both teams in great form and confidence heading into this game, we expect it to be an extremely tight affair, and despite Leverkusen boasting the home advantage, Inter could narrowly get over the line with a victory.
Inter to win, 3.20
Leipzig vs Aston Villa
Leipzig have had a disastrous Champions League qualification campaign so far, losing all of their five fixtures to disappointingly sit 34th with no points, meaning wins in all of their last three games are crucial if they are to stand any chance of qualifying.
However, they will face an Aston Villa side that have had a strong start to their league phase campaign, while they have also bounced back to form after a period of difficulty in recent outings. Villa have won three, drawn one and lost one of their first five, leaving them narrowly outside of the top eight in ninth place with 10 points. They had suffered a dismal eight-game winless run across all competitions before recording back-to-back wins heading into this game, leaving them with boosted confidence as they search for a place in the top eight.
Despite Leipzig’s strong domestic form, sitting fourth in the Bundesliga, their awful Champions League record will leave them with little confidence, and with Villa’s return to form undoubtedly giving them a boost, meaning the visitors should win tonight.
Aston Villa to win, 2.57
