The fight for top spot in the Bet9ja FPL is extremely close, with just nine points separating the top seven players and then a number of people not far off them further down the table.

Isaac Jesuyoriju currently sits top of the pack with a staggering 277 points, which is largely down to a major haul in gameweek three where they achieved 96 points. However, Isaac  opted to use his triple captain chip early in gameweek three on Mohamed Salah, who picked up a whopping 51 points due to getting a goal and two assists.

Best Gameweek 4 picks

Mohamed Salah has been in electric form for Liverpool already this season and he has picked up the joint most points in FPL (41), with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, so the Egyptian is an obvious captain luck with Nottingham Forest at home on Saturday.

Liverpool are yet to concede a goal in the league and Salah has already scored three goals and chipped in with three assists in the opening three games and we fully expect him to continue this form at the weekend.

Alexander Isak is another player who could be deemed as a crucial one to have in your team ahead of gameweek four after his nine-point haul last week. Newcastle United are yet to lose a game, while their opponents Wolverhampton Wanderers are yet to win a game and they have conceded nine goals in three games, the second most in the division.

While Haaland and Salah are always safe captaincy options, Isak could be a good differential to give the armband to, judging by his sides form and Wolves’ torrid start to the campaign.
