Each year one of the big talking points during pre-season is how the best teams in the country will look on the pitch, with new kits coming out every season for fans to support their teams over the course of the year.
The big teams in the EPL are always looking to recreate their look year on year, with remakes of old kits from decades ago along with new ideas worn all over England by fans.
Here are each of the big seven’s best kits for the 2023-24 season.
Manchester City – Third Kit
Manchester City’s third kit this season is a thing of beauty. With their home kit the classic sky blue colour, Puma have gone for a dark blue shirt with neon blue lightning strike patterns across the front, with the badge and sponsors in a deep pink colour.
The design is based off City’s “Lightning fast style of play and the buzzing atmosphere of Manchester” and City fans will hope that the likes of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne can shine in this shirt.
Arsenal – Home Kit
Since Adidas became Arsenal’s kit sponsor in 2019, nearly every single kit has been a massive hit with fans across the world. While their red and white home kit with gold accents was always going to be a huge success, their third kit this year is a unique shirt compared to anything that the Gunners have worn before.
The dark green will look fantastic on the pitch under the Emirates’ lights, and the cannon crest is a nice addition to a creative shirt.
Manchester United – Third Kit
Released today in a video featuring United legend Roy Keane, their third kit is brilliantly basic. A plain white shirt with the Adidas logo and Manchester United crest in red, this looks likely to be a kit that fans will wearing long after next season.
Newcastle United – Home Kit
Playing in the UEFA Champions League again for the first time in over 20 years, The Magpies’ home kit is another classic black and white strip that will look right at home in Europe. Newcastle fans will be happy that their kit sponsor Castore have chosen to keep the kit in the club’s traditional black and white colours with no other colourful accents for their return to the big time.
Liverpool – Away kit
Liverpool’s away kit this season is a throwback to their 1995/96 away shirt, and it looks amazing. The bright green quadrants on top of the white base really stick out, especially after the Reds’ away kit from last season which divided opinion. It is a shame that Liverpool fans won’t be able to see this in the Champions League, however.
Tottenham Hotspur – Away kit
Spurs’ away kit has been leaked for this season – it is a navy blue top with a lighter blue collar, that compliments their traditional white home kit well. Tottenham have usually gone for similar colour schemes with their away kits, but the collar is a nice addition to the shirt.
Chelsea – Home kit
Despite Chelsea not having a sponsor announced for this season, their home shirt looks great without one. With a white accent on the back of the collar that might remind fans of their 2012 Champions League victory, the royal blue base colour with gold Nike tick and crest is a simple but extremely effective design.
