Bet9ja FPL Top Managers

The early battles at the top of the league have already seen numerous people rise and fall from first position, with it currently being held by Temiloluwa Jolaosho’s Saintro Fc.

Their team moved to the top of the standings with an incredible gameweek four that saw them pick up 81 points, largely because of a well-worth decision to triple captain Erling Haaland, a decision that earned them 39 points.

While they sit at the top of the table with 338 points so far, there is an extremely close chasing pack that will be looking to take the throne this matchday, with four managers all within eight points of the leader.

Best Gameweek 5 Picks

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has rightfully been the top pick of any player so far this season, already earning a ridiculous tally of 54 points in his first four appearances, largely due to scoring a record-breaking nine goals in the first four Premier League fixtures.

The striker may finally not be the best choice for a matchday this time around though, with Manchester City set to face up against the stern defence of Arsenal in a clash between last season’s top two sides. The Gunners conceded just 29 times last year, and have conceded just once this term, as well as keeping clean sheets against Man City in both meetings last year, meaning this may be the time to switch up your attacking options.

Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy could be a smart choice to bring into your side, with the veteran striker already showing his goalscoring prowess with two goals this term, while Leicester are set to face up against the leaky defence of Everton, who have conceded a league-high 13 goals already this campaign.

Another choice that could put you one step ahead of your competitors is Marcus Rashford, with the Manchester United forward netting three goals and getting an assist in his last two appearances, potentially a sign that he is back to his best?
