2026 started on a bright note after we hit 4/5 on our New Year’s Day picks, and we are determined to secure a full house this weekend.

January promises to be filled with endless football action, excitement, and goals.

Here are our five goalscorer picks for the upcoming action.

1. Julian Brandt vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Stopping Bayern Munich from winning the Bundesliga looks highly unlikely for Borussia Dortmund, but they can keep the pressure on by beating Eintracht Frankfurt this Friday as German football returns from the winter break.

Niko Kovac’s Dortmund have lost just once all season, a 2-1 defeat to Bayern, and will fancy their chances against a Frankfurt side that has struggled for defensive consistency, conceding 10 goals in their last five competitive outings.

Our pick to score is Julian Brandt. The 29-year-old has hit a rich vein of form, netting four goals in his last four games across all competitions.

Brandt to score anytime @4.50

2. Victor Osimhen vs Algeria

Victor Osimhen may have stolen the spotlight for the wrong reasons in Nigeria’s 4-0 win over Mozambique, but the Galatasaray man still bagged a brace to take his AFCON 2025 tally to three goals in four games.

Algeria boasts the best defense in the tournament (one goal conceded), while the Super Eagles have the most prolific attack (12 goals scored). This sets the stage for an intriguing quarter-final clash.

Nigeria should have enough to edge this encounter, and Osimhen remains the man for the big moments.

Osimhen to score anytime @3.00

3. Lennart Karl vs Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich ended 2025 with a 4-0 win over Heidenheim and will look to build on their nine-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga when they host Wolfsburg.

With the visitors sitting just three points clear of the relegation zone, Bayern’s historical dominance at home (W26, D2) makes a significant victory likely for Vincent Kompany’s men.

Teenage sensation Lennart Karl was in fine form before the break, netting four goals in six games, and we expect him to pick up right where he left off.

Karl to score anytime @2.40

4. Troy Parrott vs Volendam

AZ Alkmaar are heavy favorites against struggling Volendam as they continue their push for Champions League football. Currently in sixth, AZ will be desperate to avoid a three-game winless streak after ending 2025 with a narrow 4-3 loss to Fortuna Sittard.

Their chances rest heavily on Troy Parrott, who is enjoying an impressive campaign with nine Eredivisie goals already.

The hosts have never lost to Volendam, and we are backing Parrott to find the net in a comfortable home win.

Parrott to score anytime @1.50

5. Cucho Hernandez vs Real Oviedo

Real Betis were thrashed 5-1 by Real Madrid last weekend, ending a 14-match unbeaten run on the road. That heavy defeat was only their third loss since mid-September, and they will be eager to bounce back as they target a top four finish.

Games involving Betis tend to be high scoring, with four or more goals in five of their last seven outings. Cucho Hernandez is our pick here; the Colombian has four goals in his last five appearances and should exploit an Oviedo defence that has struggled for clean sheets.

Hernandez to score anytime @2.90

Total Odds – 147.99
