Similarly to the UEFA Champions League play-off round second legs taking place throughout this week, both of Europe’s other two competitions will also be hosting their play-off round second legs on Thursday.
These matches should be full of drama and tension as teams battle it out for the final time in an attempt to qualify for the newly revamped league phases of the Europa League and Europa Conference League, leaving the fans with plenty of excitement.

Elfsborg vs Molde
Elfsborg secured a 1-0 victory in an extremely tight encounter between these two sides in the first leg last week, leaving them with a vital advantage going into the second leg at their home ground on Thursday.
While that victory continued Elfsborg’s strong run of form, losing just one of their last 14 matches across all competitions, the defeat added to Molde’s recent struggles, losing two of their last three.

Braga were favourites to pick up a victory in the first leg in Portugal last week, and while they did secure the lead to take into the second leg, the game was much tighter than they would have anticipated.
Rapid Vienna went down to 10 men after just two minutes as Lukas Grgic was sent off, but managed to take the lead after 25 minutes thanks to Guido Burgstaller’s goal. However, Braga were eventually able to come from behind to take the victory with goals from Vitor Carvalho and Rodrigo Zalazar securing a 2-1 win.
The red card meant Rapid Vienna went extremely defensive in the first leg, making it hard for Braga to break them down, but as they trail in the tie heading into the second leg, Rapid Vienna will have to be much more attacking. That will allow for Braga to break them down on the counter, and we believe that will lead the Braga securing the victory.

Servette vs Chelsea
After an underwhelming opening 45 minutes in the first leg between these two teams, Chelsea were much improved in the second half and ended up securing a 2-0 win to take to Switzerland, though that should have been more after Marc Guiu missed two glorious opportunities.
Enzo Maresca’s men showed their talent and quality in a remarkable 6-2 victory against Wolves at the weekend in a confidence-boosting result, and we expect their attacking quality to shine through once again here with a comfortable victory and over 3.5 goals.

Puskas Akademia vs Fiorentina
Fiorentina would have been extremely disappointed with their 3-3 draw with Puskas Akademia in the first leg of this tie, a game that saw the Italians have to come from two goals behind to eventually take a 3-2 lead before Wojciech Golla equalised in the 89th minute for the Hungarian side.
Despite the result, Fiorentina were dominant throughout the game, taking 22 shots and holding 59% possession, and they should be in control of the second leg as well as they aim to progress into the Europa Conference League, a competition they have finished runners-up in each of the last two years.
We believe that Fiorentina will once again take control of this game, and will eventually secure the victory to take them into the league phase.
