Odion Ighalo has left Super Eagles fans guessing if he has made a u-turn on his international retirement after a cryptic tweet early morning Wednesday.
Ighalo, who is currently injured, posted pictures of himself in the national colours with the caption:
Coming back strongerIt will be recalled the forward announced his international retirement after Nigeria’s campaign at the AFCON 2019
At the time Ighalo’s decision left many disappointed and there has been efforts by the NFF leadership and the Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, to reconsider his position.
Several fans were left bewildered at the message and wanted clarification:
