Isak Set To Join Liverpool For Record Fee & Every Confirmed Transfer On Deadline Day

The transfer window shuts at 7pm today, bringing to an end to record setting spending by English Premier League clubs.

Clubs in the English top flight have spent a combined total just under £3 billion which looks set to be smashed today, as all 20 teams scramble for last minute purchases.

The biggest news of the day is that Alexander Isak is set to join Liverpool from Newcastle for £130 million after the two clubs reached a deal which will be a British record.

With so many other deals taking place, here’s a look at the confirmed transfers and what is expected to be done before the 7pm deadline:

Confirmed Deals:

Tolu Arokodare – Genk to Wolves for £24m

Super Eagles striker Arokodare, who scored 21 goals in the Belgian Pro League to win the Golden Boot last season, has signed for Premier League basement club Wolves.

The 24-year-old, who has one goal for Nigeria, will provide firepower to a team who have lost three out of three. Watch this space as another Nigerian prospect joins the EPL.

Alex Jimenez Milan to Bournemouth on loan

Bournemouth have signed 20-year-old Jimenez on loan from AC Milan, which will become permanent for £16.5m if he makes 18 EPL starts this season

Victor Lindelof – Man Utd to Aston Villa for Free

Aston Villa have snapped up Sweden captain Lindelof for free after he left Man Utd in the summer, and brings plenty of experience having made 284 appearances for the Red Devils.

Facundo Buonanotte – Brighton to Chelsea on loan

In a surprising deal, Chelsea have signed Buonanotte and will pay about £2m for the loan deal. Leeds were destined to sign the former Leicester forward who scored six times for the relegated outfit last season.

Expected Deals:

Isak from Newcastle to Liverpool – £130m

£130m fee has been agreed between the two clubs and Isak is currently undergoing a medical to put an end to the longest running transfer saga of the summer.

Yoane Wissa from Brentford to Newcastle – £55m

As a result of Isak leaving, Newcastle have wasted no time in brining in reinforcements with Wissa set to sign for £55m. This comes a day after the record signing of Nick Woltemade for £69m from Stuttgart.

Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG to Man City – £30.3m

In what would be one of the biggest transfers of the window, Man City are set to sign the Italian Champions League winner after being frozen out at PSG.

Donnarumma is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world and would provide a huge boost to City after James Trafford’s tough start, which has resulted in back-to-back defeats.

Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp to Man Utd – £18.1m

Man Utd are finally signing a new goalkeeper, with 23-year-old Belgium stopper Lammens set to sign today. The young keeper is expected to become number one after substandard performances from both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir so far this season.

Kolo Muani from PSG to Tottenham – Loan

Spurs are set for a massive coup with the signing of French striker Muani from PSG on a season-long loan. The 26-year-old netted 10 times in 22 matches for Juventus last season and will provide a big boost to Tottenham’s attacking options.

Liverpool have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace to sign England international Guehi, in a transfer which has taken a good part of a month to complete.

Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea to Bayern – Loan
