Liverpool FC have officially announced a massive new kit deal with Adidas, marking the return of the German sportswear giant to Anfield from the 2025/26 season.
The five-year agreement, worth a staggering £300 million (£60m per season), will see Adidas replace Nike as the club’s kit supplier, outfitting the men’s, women’s, and academy teams.
While the deal officially kicks in from August 1, 2025, leaked images circulating online have already given fans a glimpse of what the new Liverpool kits might look like – and they are generating plenty of excitement.

A Return to Adidas
Liverpool and Adidas have a shared history dating back to 1985. The club first partnered with the brand for 11 seasons, during which they won three league titles, three FA Cups, and a League Cup. After a decade with Reebok, Adidas returned in 2006 and remained Liverpool’s kit supplier until 2012, when the club switched to Warrior (later New Balance). The Reds won only one trophy during that period – the 2012 League Cup – and later transitioned to Nike in 2020.
Now, Adidas is back, and both sides are eager to rekindle past success.
“We are extremely excited that Adidas and Liverpool Football Club are teaming up once again,” said Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden. “The club is one of the biggest and most iconic names in world football with a huge fan base. We are honoured to once again provide the players with cutting-edge technology to perform at the highest level and are looking forward to creating more classics for the fans.”
Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan echoed the enthusiasm: “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome Adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time.”

Leaked Kit Designs – What to Expect
While Liverpool and Adidas have yet to officially unveil the new designs, leaked images from FootyHeadlines.com have offered fans a sneak peek at what could be in store.
Home Kit
The traditional Liverpool red remains dominant, with Adidas’ signature three stripes running along the shoulders. The leaked design features white accents, including the Adidas logo, Liverpool crest, and Standard Chartered sponsor. There is also speculation that subtle white trim and piping will be incorporated into the sleeves and torso.

Away Kit
Leaked concepts suggest the away shirt will be a clean white design with red trim. The Liverpool badge is reportedly encased in a shield, a design nod reminiscent of past Adidas kits worn by the club.

Third Kit
The most striking of the alleged leaks is the third kit, which boasts a bold teal colour as a throwback to the 1980s. This retro-inspired look is expected to feature striped trim, an Adidas Originals trefoil logo, and a vintage Liverpool crest, embracing nostalgia while introducing a modern twist.
