We are nearly a week away from the end of the January transfer window, which is usually the time when clubs from the English Premier League tend to do business.

There has not been a lot of business completed from the big six clubs so far, so if they want to get deals over the line then they will have to act fast.

The race for the title and European qualification is looking like it will be tight, which means getting the right players in the door could be vital when it comes to who finishes where in the league standings.

We picked out one player that is a realistic signing for the big six in the Premier League before the window shuts.

Liverpool

Hwang Hee-chan, Wolverhampton Wanderers

Hwang Hee-chan has impressed while playing for Wolves in the first half of the campaign, and Liverpool are interested in signing him as they look to add strength in the attacking third of the pitch whilst also providing healthy competition to the current forwards.

Manchester City

Savinho, Girona

Savinho has been excellent for Girona so far this season, and the 19-year-old would be a great long-term option for Manchester City, who are interested in luring him to the club this January.

With the Manchester giants expected to reach the later stages of all competitions, Pep Guardiola might be keen to bring in players before the transfer window shuts, and Savinho has certainly showed that he is capable of playing at the top level so far in La Liga.

Arsenal

Ivan Toney, Brentford

Ivan Toney found the back of the net 20 times in the Premier League last term for Brentford and scored on his return at the weekend, after being suspended for the first half of the campaign.

The Gunners are evidently in need of a goal scorer, and if they can acquire the English forward before the transfer window shuts, then it could give Mikel Arteta’s a great chance at lifting the title come May.

Tottenham Hotspur

Antonio Nusa, Club Brugge

Antonio Nusa has caught the eye of several top European clubs after he has chipped in with five goal contributions in 15 league appearances and Spurs are keen on signing him.

Whether Spurs opt to bring Nusa in and send him back out on loan, or opt to sign him to be a squad player for the remainder of the season, the Brazilian will be a good long-term option for Ange Postecoglou if he was to sign this January.

Chelsea

Artem Dovbyk, Girona

Artem Dovbyk has been in inspired form for Girona in the first half of the campaign, after he has found the back of the net 14 times and chipped in with five assists in 20 league games.

Chelsea have struggled in front of goal this term, so signing Dovbyk would undoubtedly be a step in the right direction and help the Blues kick on in the remainder of the season.

Manchester United

Ronald Araujo, Barcelona

Manchester United are in desperate need of a central defender, and Ronald Araujo is among the names that Erik ten Hag is interested in this January.

Araujo would certainly strengthen the United back line, but the Red Devils May face competition for his signature as Bayern Munich are amongst the other clubs interested.
