The UEFA Nations League continues this Friday with another action-packed day, featuring eight critical fixtures across Europe in the 2024/25 edition of the tournament.
As the competition progresses, teams are pushing to secure vital points in the race for play-offs or promotion, while others will be aiming to avoid the looming threat of relegation.

Hungary vs Netherlands
Despite falling to defeat against England in the semi-finals of the 2024 European Championship, the Netherlands had an impressive tournament and would have been boosted by their performances.
They have since gone on to win 5-2 against Bosnia & Herzegovina and draw 2-2 with Germany in the Nations League, marking two positive results for Ronald Koeman’s men, and they will be confident of recording another victory against a Hungary side that are yet to score in League A Group Three.

Germany were extremely unfortunate to suffer a 2-1 defeat after extra-time to eventual champions Spain in the quarter-finals of the European Championship, a tournament which they hosted, with UEFA since declaring Germany should have had a penalty that could have won them the game.
Despite that, they have bounced back with two strong performances, beating Hungary 5-0 and drawing 2-2 with Netherlands in a tight battle between two top teams.
With Bosnia clearly struggling to match the performance of the Netherlands in their game, losing 5-2, and Germany at least on the same level as the Dutch, we believe a similar result will take place here.

Turkey vs Montenegro
Despite exiting at the quarter-final stage of the Euros, Turkey were one of the more impressive sides throughout the tournament and came close to reaching the semi-finals.
They have since recorded a draw with Wales and a win against Iceland, and they will be looking to remain unbeaten against a side that are yet to pick up a point in the group so far.
With Montenegro clearly the weakest side in the group, losing both games 2-0 and 2-1, we believe that Turkey will comfortably win this one.

Ukraine vs Georgia
Following his phenomenal season at Girona in 2023/24, where he scored 24 goals and assisted 10 in 39 appearances across all competitions, Artem Dovbyk earned a move to AS Roma, and the striker has hit the ground running at his new club.
Dovbyk has already netted four times in nine appearances for the club, all four coming in his last six matches, meaning the striker is heading into these upcoming international games in plenty of confidence and brilliant form.
While Georgia showed that they can be a difficult side to play during the Euros, including beating Portugal, we believe that the in-form striker will get chances, and with the form he is in heading into the game, we expect him to get his goal.
