The 2023/24 English Premier League campaign came to an end at the weekend, and we take a look back of the top five goals from what was a memorable season.
From outstanding team goals to individual brilliance, there were moments in this excellent campaign that will be remembered as some of the best in Premier League history.
There were some outstanding goals that did not quite make our list, which is evidence as to how high the quality of the ones that did get into our top five are.
5: Mohamed Kudus, vs Manchester City
Manchester City took the lead inside two minutes at the weekend and doubled the deficit in the 18th minute, but Kudus scored a spectacular goal to claw one back just before half-time.
The Ghanaian international managed to find half a yard of space in a compact penalty area, and took the opportunity well as he scored an overhead kick into the back of the City net.
4: Moises Caicedo, vs Bournemouth
Chelsea beat Bournemouth 2-1 on the final day and Caicedo opened the scoring in fine fashion, when he lobbed Neto from inside his own half in the 17th minute, to cap off an impressive end to the season for the Blues.
3: Marcus Rashford, vs Manchester City
United travelled to the Etihad back in March, and against all odds, Rashford gave his side the lead in the eighth minute which left the home fans stunned, after he picked the ball up from range, and riffled an effort into the back of the net off the cross bar.
2: Alexis Mac Allister, vs Fulham
Alexis Mac Allister has scored several belters this campaign, but his standout one was against Fulham, when the ball fell to him outside the penalty area and fired the ball home into the top corner of the net, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
1: Alejandro Garnacho, vs Everton
Number one on our list is not only the best goal of the 2023/24 campaign, but arguably the best goal the Premier League has ever seen, when Garnacho scored against Everton earlier on in the campaign.
The Argentine winger received the ball from the right-side of the pitch, and produced a moment of magic when he met the ball with an over-head kick from 20-yards-out and the ball flew into the top corner, just like Wayne Rooney had previously done for the club.

Yes, it’s truly Garnacho is the best goal secorer of the season, just look at his bycycle kick, it’s a great goal of the season indeed.
