Three EPL Transfers To Expect This Week

This summer has seen English Premier League clubs splash out around £1.4bn so far with spending far from done.

Exciting players have joined the EPL this term such as Rasmus Hojlund and Christopher Nkunku to tee up what is looking like will be a really competitive campaign at both ends of the table.

The English top flight kicks off this Friday and you can take the action into your own hands at Bet9ja with more than 200 markets per game!

Here’s a look a three more transfers that are likely to take place this week.

Moises Caicedo, Brighton – Chelsea

Chelsea have been heavily linked with sought after Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Caicedo since January and his move to Stamford Bridge could be imminent according to reports.

The Brighton midfielder has reportedly not trained and was not involved in the recent friendly in order to force a move to Chelsea, but the Seagulls are not budging on their £100m valuation.

Caicedo would be an excellent addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield as he could form a formidable midfield trio with Enzo Fernandez and summer signing Lesley Ugochukwu.

Gift Orban, KAA Gent – Tottenham Hotspur

21-year-old Nigerian star Gift Orban has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer and the EPL outfit have reportedly made contact with Gent over a move.

Orban impressed for the Belgian side last term, finding the back of the net 20 times in 22 appearances in all competitions and has already scored in his opening game in the 2023/24 campaign.

With the rumours that Harry Kane might leave Spurs this summer, Orban could be an adequate replacement for Ange Postecoglou as he is looking to build his squad for long term success.

Deivid Washington, Santos – Chelsea

Chelsea are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and they are reportedly confident in signing Deivid Washington from Santos for a fee in the region of £18m.

The Blues have already added forwards Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson to their ranks this summer, but Nkunku has recently picked up an injury that could see him sidelined for the foreseeable future.

The 18-year-old Brazilian might not come in and be a starter straight away for Chelsea, but he could be valuable for them in years to come as he certainly has the potential to progress into a prolific goal scorer.
