Erling Haaland has broken the all-time English Premier League goal scoring record for a single season, in his first in England.
The Premier League has proven ruthless over the years, with several strikers coming over with a proven goal scoring record elsewhere but not being able to continue this in England.
Haaland is one of the exceptions to that rule. We take a look at three other strikers who hit the ground running in their first season in the Premier League.

Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez signed for Liverpool in January 2011 and scored on his debut in England against Stoke City after he picked the ball up, rounded the keeper and passed the ball into an empty net in typical fashion.
The Uruguayan forward went on to score 17 goals in 39 appearances in his first full season with the club, and this was also the season where he missed eight matches right in the heart of the campaign after being proven guilty of racism.
In the following season, Suarez notched 31 times in 33 appearances in the Premier League and was inches away from carrying the Reds to a Premier League title but it was not meant to be.
Michu
Michu signed for Swansea City at the start of the 2012/13 campaign and that season was one to remember for the Spaniard after he found the back of the net 18 times in 35 league games.
With the help of the goal scoring forward, Swansea went on to win the League Cup in 2013 after they beat Bradford City 5-0 in the final, a game where Michu managed to get his name on the score sheet.
However, things did not quite go to plan from there for Michu after he fell out of favour at the Welsh club and ended up getting released in November 2015.
Fernando Torres
Fernando Torres was a striker who certainly hit the ground running in England, he signed for Liverpool in 2007 and chipped in with 24 Premier League goals during his debut season.
The Spanish striker then had two more successful goal scoring campaigns in Merseyside before making the switch to London to join Chelsea where things went downhill, finding the back of the net just 20 times in 110 appearances in the league.
