Matchday 4 of this year’s UCL group stage is about to take place and with it comes some matchups between Europe’s biggest sides, while other games involve huge stakes as teams look to push on to secure qualification from the group.
With so many important games set to take place, we’ve picked out our top tips and booking code for this week’s games:
Borussia Dortmund to win, 2.64
Borussia Dortmund vs Newcastle United
Borussia Dortmund lost their first game of the season last weekend as Bayern Munich strolled to a 4-0 win with Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick. Despite this result, Dortmund are still one of the most in-form teams in Europe this season and with the ‘Yellow Wall’ pushing them on we can see Dortmund taking the win.
PSG to win and over 2.5 goals, 3.20
PSG have been simply phenomenal since their crushing 4-1 defeat to Newcastle back at the beginning of September. In the five games since, PSG have won all five and scored three goals in every single one, including in the reverse fixture of this upcoming game where they beat AC Milan 3-0. Milan, in contrast, have been in poor form with them losing three and drawing one of their last four games. With all of this in mind, we expect PSG to continue their winning and goalscoring streak in this one.
Arsenal to win, 1.32
Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways in their coming match against Sevilla after losing in both of their last two. A win against Sevilla would put Arsenal firmly in the driving seat of this group, and it could even see them guarantee a place in the knockout rounds if Lens also beat PSV.
With this extra incentive for Arsenal and the game also taking place at the Emirates Stadium, we can see Arsenal taking all three points.
Manchester United to win, 1.83
FC Copenhagen vs Manchester United
Manchester United currently sit third in Group A, a point behind Galatasaray and six behind group leaders Bayern Munich, after they lost their first two games of the group. However, a win in their last game against Copenhagen would have given them back the hope of qualifying from the group. If this is to happen, a win in Denmark is a must for United and despite not being in the best of form, we expect that their overall quality and this extra drive to qualify will prove too much for Copenhagen in the end.
