Tuesday evening sees the final UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying games take place, with teams looking to secure their spot in next summer’s tournament with a top two finish in their respective groups.
The standout games take place in Group D, where Wales and Croatia both have the chance to advance into the tournament with a second place finish.
Wales face up against group leaders Turkey and need to take all three points and Croatia to draw or lose against Armenia if they are to advance due to their superior head-to-head over the Croatians. As for Croatia, they need to match Wales’s result or hope the Welsh don’t win in order to ensure that they stay second and qualify for next summer’s tournament.
With so many games taking place, read on as we’ve picked out our top tips for Tuesday’s games:
Wales and Turkey to draw, 3.30 (odds at time of writing)
Wales vs Turkey
Wales are coming into this game on the back of a good run of form having won three and drawn two of their last five, including a 2-1 victory over Croatia. With the knowledge that a win could take them into second place depending on Croatia’s result, Wales will be out in full force to try and take the three points in this one.
However, group leaders Turkey are no easy task who also come into the game on the back of some good results. A 3-2 victory over Germany in their last outing and a 1-0 victory over Croatia are just some of the impressive results this Turkey team has managed in recent weeks.
With the form that both sides are coming into this game, we expect that it will be a tightly contested affair but will end in a draw.
Croatia to win, 1.16
Croatia vs Armenia
Croatia come into this game knowing that a victory against already eliminated Armenia will ensure their place in next summer’s tournament, while Wales have to win in order to stand any chance.
Croatia will be confident coming into this one too, with them winning the reverse fixture back in September. While it only ended 1-0, the Croatians dominated the game with 68% possession and 26 shots to Armenia’s six. We believe this game will end in similar fashion, and firmly expect Croatia to take all three points.
France to win and over 2.5 goals, 2.57
Greece vs France
France will be on a massive high coming into this one, as they broke the record for the biggest win in a men’s Euro qualifying game with an astounding 14-0 win over Gibraltar. This win cemented France’s place in Pot 1 of the Euro 2024 group stage draw with them currently sitting on maximum points after seven games.
With just one game left, France will be looking to end the Group with a 100% record and with the attacking quality they have shown in recent games we firmly expect them to win this one and score over 2.5 goals.

Gibraltar vs Netherlands
The Netherlands guaranteed their spot in Euro 2024 in their last outing thanks to a 1-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland, but as it’s still possible to enter Pot 2,3 or 4 for the group stage draw, the Netherlands will still be out for victory in this one.
Victory is extremely likely for Oranje too, as they face up against Gibraltar who come into this game having been crushed 14-0 in their last outing. While that’s the case, Gibraltar will want to get on the scoresheet to avoid making more history as they have never gone a full tournament qualifying stage without scoring at least once.
