Manchester United and Bayern Munich find themselves in very different situations leading into this game, as Manchester United sit bottom of the table needing to win and other results to go their way to have any chance of qualification while Bayern have already secured top spot.
Despite being the highest scoring team in the group, just four points from their first five games has seen Man United severely disappoint in the Champions League and they now need to take all three points in their final game and hope that Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw to ensure they finish second. However, coming up against leaders Bayern Munich makes this an extremely tough task as Bayern have lost just three times all season.
While Man United are sure to come out and push for the win, Bayern are simply too strong and should end United’s hopes of qualifying with a win in this one.
