Round four of the EFL Cup takes place this week, with most the games happening on Wednesday evening. The majority of teams remaining in the competition play their football in the English Premier League, leaving us with some exciting fixtures as clubs look to book their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Read on to see our top tips and exclusive booking code for Wednesday’s games:
Arsenal and over 1.5 goals, 2.34 (at time of writing)
West Ham are coming into this game on the back of three defeats in a row, with the most recent being a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Everton which saw the home fans boo the players off at full-time. On the other hand, Arsenal are yet to be beaten in any domestic competition this season and come into the game having scored nine goals in their last three games. With these factors in mind, you can expect Arsenal to comfortably win this one.
Diogo Jota to score, 2.50
Diogo Jota has scored in both his last two appearances for Liverpool and also got on the scoresheet in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Leicester City in the last round of the EFL Cup. With Liverpool’s impressive attacking record this season which has seen them score 23 goals in 10 Premier League games and 10 in three Europa League games, Jota is sure to get chances against a struggling Bournemouth side and we back him to score.
Everton to win, 1.65 (90 minutes only)
Everton have found themselves in good form recently, and are coming into this game having won four of their last six games including a 1-0 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium in their most recent league game. Burnley, however, have lost all of their last three games, picking up just four points in the Premier League this season.
Taking into mind the form of both of these clubs, we fully expect Everton to win this one.
Callum Wilson to score anytime, 3.25
Manchester United vs Newcastle United
Callum Wilson has been fantastic in the opening stages of this season, with seven goals already in the Premier League despite playing just 420 minutes and has scored five goals in his last five games in domestic football. With Manchester United’s defensive frailties this season, we expect Wilson to bag yet another one in this game.
