Al Ahly
The Egyptian powerhouses, Al Ahly qualified for the 2025 Club World Cup as champions of the 2020/21, 2022/23 and 2023/24 CAF Champions League’s – showing their dominance in CAF in recent times.

Sundowns are similarly unlikely to go all the way at the 2025 Club World Cup, though they may fancy their chances of progressing from group F, as they have been drawn alongside Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan HD and Fluminense.
