The action comes thick and fast in the World Cup, with two more groups concluding on Wednesday.
It’s all to play for in Group C, as all four nations – Poland, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Mexico – can all qualify, with first-placed Poland facing second-placed Argentina in a crunch tie.
Then in Group D, France have already qualified, but will still be strong favourites against fourth-placed Tunisia. That means the final qualification spot will come down to the result between Australia and Denmark.

Group C: Poland vs Argentina

On Saturday, Argentina finally showed glimpses of why they were so strongly fancied to lift the World Cup at the start of the tournament. The Argentines were on the wrong end of a massive upset when they were defeated 1-2 by Saudi Arabia in their opening match.
But on Saturday, Lionel Scaloni’s men saw off the tough challenge of Mexico with a 2-0 win. It was a cagey match in which Argentina had to be patient, but two moments of brilliance saw them over the line. First, Lionel Messi produced another magical moment to put his side ahead, before an excellent strike from Enzo Fernandez sealed it. Those moments of brilliance are often the difference and the fact Argentina have the players to produce them means you can’t rule them out of going far in this World Cup.
Poland also got their first victory of the World Cup on Saturday. Following a 0-0 draw with Mexico, Robert Lewandowski scored his first World Cup tournament goal to help his side secure a 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia. The legendary striker, who is his country’s record goalscorer with 77 goals, atoned for his penalty miss against Mexico, to follow up after Piotr Zielinski had given Poland the lead. Capable of giving any team a tough match, Poland are usually the nearly-men in big tournaments; they haven’t reached the knockout rounds of a World Cup since 1986. They need just a draw to make it through to the Last 16, but face an Argentina team who could be about to reach form at the right time.
Messi is 4.65 with Bet9ja to be first goalscorer and 2.30 to net anytime; while Lewandowski is 7.40 for first goalscorer and 3.50 to score anytime. A draw might not be good enough for Argentina, depending on the other Group C result. Expect a low-scoring match, and it could be that an Argentina 1-0 win at 5.70 comes through.
Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Poland win: 7.30, Draw: 4.05, Argentina win: 1.52
Group C: Saudi Arabia vs Mexico

While most eyes will be on Poland vs Argentina in Group C, the match between third-placed Saudi Arabia and fourth-placed Mexico will still throw up some interesting permutations. If Saudi Arabia win, they will progress to the Last 16 for the first time since 1994, no matter the result in the other match. For Mexico, their best bet to qualify is beating Saudi Arabia and Argentina losing. Otherwise, they could qualify if they win and the other match is either a draw or Argentina win, but must rely on a goal swing to do so.
Both nations succumbed to a 0-2 defeat in their respective matches in the second round of games. Mexico are yet to score and Saudi Arabia showed the world what they are capable of against Argentina. A tough one to predict, perhaps a draw at 4.10 could be the safest bet at Bet9ja.
Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Saudi Arabia win: 4.65, Draw: 4.10, Mexico win: 1.70
Group D: Australia vs Denmark

It could be a winner-takes-all and loser-leaves-with-nothing clash between Australia and Denmark in Group D. Australia have given themselves a great chance of qualifying for the Last 16 for the first time since 2006. An excellent and hard-fought victory over Tunisia, in which Mitchell Duke scored the only goal, means a draw for the Socceroos should be enough to qualify, providing Tunisia fail to beat France as expected
Denmark have underwhelmed at the World Cup so far. A disappointing goalless draw with Tunisia was followed up by a late-goal defeat to France. In truth, France were fully-deserved winners and the Danish have been lacking a spark up front. They rested the likes of Kasper Dolberg and Martin Braithwaite for this final encounter, and must show more going forward if they are to qualify for the Last 16.
It could be that one goal is all it takes for either side, with under 1.5 goals priced up at 3.50 at Bet9ja.
Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Australia win: 6.70, Draw: 4.20, Denmark win: 1.52
Group D: Tunisia vs France
Education City Stadium

France have mostly looked the part of the holders and one of the pre-tournament favourites so far. Despite falling behind early to Australia, it was a dominant 4-1 win, with Oliver Giroud scoring twice. They then had to dig deep to get a late win against Denmark, with Kylian Mbappe looking unstoppable on his way to a brace. Already qualified and group winners bar a highly unlikely goal swing with Australia, expect France to rest key players. The biggest question is whether they rest Mbappe and halt his momentum, with the superstar currently joint top with three goals in the race to win the Golden Boot.
In truth, whatever team France play, it’s looking like Tunisia will need a miracle to qualify. With just one point and no goals so far, it would take a brave person to back them to breach the French defence, and go on to secure a famous victory. A 2-0 France win at 6.60 in our correct score market could be the way to go at Bet9ja.
Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Tunisia win: 7.60, Draw: 4.20, France win: 1.48
