Vinicius Junior vs Al Hilal
Real Madrid, now led by new manager Xabi Alonso, will kick off their Club World Cup campaign against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal. Both teams boast significant talent, but the La Liga giants should have enough to win, thanks to the attacking firepower of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Kylian Mbappe.
The two sides previously clashed in the 2022 Club World Cup Final, a shorter-format tournament, where Real Madrid edged the Saudi side 5-3, with Vinicius scoring twice.
With Mbappe a doubt for this one, Vinicius is an excellent goalscorer pick, especially as he is expected to be on penalty duty in the Frenchman’s absence. We are backing Vini to add to his season tally of 21 goals.
Vinicius Junior to score anytime @2.20
Randal Kolo Muani vs Al Ain
Juventus face Al Ain in their Club World Cup opener, after a grueling league campaign that saw them secure fourth place on the final day. Manager Igor Tudor, who took over from Thiago Motta in March, has been retained, and he will be keen to deliver silverware.
The quality gap between Juventus and Al Ain suggests a comfortable win for the Italian side, although we shouldn’t expect a goal-fest here.
Randal Kolo Muani arrived on loan from PSG in January and has been in fine form with eight goals in 20 appearances. We are backing him to find the net in this one.

Samu Omorodion vs Inter Miami
Inter Miami narrowly escaped with a 0-0 draw against Al Ahly in their Club World Cup opener, thanks to goalkeeper Oscar Ustari’s heroics.
However, they face an even tougher test against Porto on Thursday.
Despite Lionel Messi’s presence, Inter Miami have been pretty bad this season, conceding 24 goals in their last 10 matches.
Porto’s Samu Omorodion will be licking his lips at the prospect of adding to his 25 goals this season. He is our bet to score anytime.

Julian Alvarez vs Seattle Sounders
Atletico Madrid will be aiming to recover from a 4-0 defeat to PSG in their Club World Cup opener as they face MLS side Seattle Sounders, who lost 2-1 to Botafogo in their first match.
Diego Simeone’s men conceded 11 shots on target against PSG and will be missing suspended defender Clement Lenglet but should still have enough to secure their first win of the tournament.
Julian Alvarez is the star man for Atletico with 29 goals this season, including six in his last eight matches, and he is our pick to score anytime.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia vs Botafogo
Reigning UEFA Champions League champions PSG have been in scintillating form, scoring nine goals without reply against formidable defenses like Inter Milan in the UCL Final and Atletico Madrid in the Club World Cup.
Their opponents, Botafogo, are simply no match. They have scored only once across their six away league games this term and are likely to suffer a big defeat here.
Ousmane Dembele remains a doubt, so we are backing winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to score here. He had three shots and two assists against Atletico and finished the 2024/25 campaign with three goals in his final two appearances.
Kvaratskhelia to score anytime @2.20
